Inspector Turley

We’ve just purchased our first home (moving tomorrow, actually!!) and used inspector Turley on the recommendation of a co-​worker who recently purchased a home and thought he was a very good/​thorough inspector.
We were extremely pleased with his service and report. A few things that I particularly liked: there were two summaries — what needed to be repaired/​replaced and what needed more investigation and the full report came with photographs of each problem annotated to point out the exact issue. I am not a DIY/​home type person, this will be my first home, so having photographs as well as the written list is really helpful. If we try to do some of the repairs ourselves (so. much. caulking.), we have a visual guide to remind us of what we are looking for/​fixing.
We were able to use the inspection to have the sellers address some issues before the sale — there weren’t any huge red flags, but Inspector Turley probably saved us at least a thousand dollars in home repairs. He was also extremely friendly/​personable. We would absolutely use him again (and obviously would recommend him — can’t thank my coworker enough for recommending him!).
