Darin L. Strako, O.D. specializes in pediatric vision care, binocular vision, eye muscle training and specialty contact lenses for children. Dr. Strako also specializes in adult vision care and all types of adult contact lenses.

Dr. Strako is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Champaign/​Urbana with a degree in chemistry. He earned his Doctor of Optometry degree, from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. He completed a pediatrics and binocular vision residency at the Illinois College of Optometry.

Before joining or practice, Dr. Strako has been in private practice in Chicago’s north shore area for the last 8 years. He is also on staff at the Wheaton Eye Clinic in the Department of Pediatrics. Other professional experience includes work at the Illinois School for the Visually Impaired in Jacksonville, Illinois as well as the Infant Welfare Clinic in Chicago. He has been an instructor at the University of Chicago Medical School and the Illinois College of Optometry
