I love Coldwater Creek. Yes, they’re a bit pricier($ 50 capris, $ 70 sweaters, $ 90 jackets) but they’re such high quality and usually classic pieces(that you can wear more than one season) that I don’t mind paying more. And they do have fabulous sales and offer coupons that brings the cost down. The sales associates are extremely helpful. I barely have something in my hands before they ask if they can start a fitting room for me.(And will come back to me again and again as I gather up more stuff.) Since they don’t work on commission, they don’t pressure you to buy(something I love). And they will actually check on you in the fitting room to see if you need another size. If you’re looking for your basics and/or classics along with stylish jackets(I love their jackets), you should check this place out. They also offer a wide range of sizes from xs to xxl and size 4 to 24 along with petites.

The return policy is stupid! On the receipt it says«if you have the receipt, return it or exchange» Well, I went to return it & they would only let me get a credit on a gift card. I know times are tough, that is plain not right! Besides all of this, I saw many workers but no one that was very helpful or fast. I will not be back & wouldn’t reccomend this store either. Unless you have a tonnnn of patience & a lot of money!

$ 50 for a reindeer made out of birch wood? Are you kidding me? … This is just one of my complaints, like the fact that customer service was hard to come buy on the actual sales floor. But it was abundant at the register. Many of their things are overpriced and generic, but there are as many good finds to balance it out. When they have big sales the prices make a little more sense. Everything was of very high quality, but geared more towards women who are either conservative, going for the earthy mom style, leaning toward the hippie side, or middle aged women who love sweaters. Clothing, accessories and some household decorations are what they specialize in. Accessories are pretty gaudy and the prices match. You’re looking at about $ 40 for a beaded necklace. I fell in love with many of their suede items, but the prices were too high or they didn’t have the colors I would like. If I were rich I’d probably buy some more grown-up outfits from here. I came with a $ 25 gift card and left with a necklace that had been about $ 45 and was on sale for $ 28. After tax I payed about $ 6, which I felt was much more reasonable for the purchase. If you want a better idea of what to expect… imagine your stereotypical Minnesotan woman teacher in her 30s-40s, sipping her hot cocoa next to a moose in her stylish knit earth-toned sweaters, white suede jacket with matching gloves trimmed in fur. She’s probably wrapped in a modern snowflake fleece blanket next to the fire, or going for a sleigh ride. Her friend is next to her with her corduroy pants, a thick turquoise turtleneck, a fringed poncho/shall/wrap thingy and a woven leather purse in lime green. You really feel as if you’re in a cabin here. Yup. That about sums it up.
