If you like grilled cheese in the form of pizza, this is the place for you. I live in Skippack and can it believe people go here or this place is till open. Terrible pizza

Have been coming here since 1996. The quality has decreased over the years. New guy making pizza should do just that and not get involved with customers. Kitchen area needs to be cleaner!!!

Old fashioned Italian restaurant experience. Excellent food made with the freshest ingredients. Warm and friendly staff. I’ll be back!

This place may have been great once, but I was not impressed with my visit today. –the good reviews are dated– Ordered two slices of white spinach pizza but my bf and I ended up returning one of the slices after being dissatisfied with the first because it seemed like someone dumped four handfuls of spinach on the slice. Really? Mild wings were standard. Nothing special. Chicken parm sub was okay. Nice size. Upon leaving, the cashier discussed the tip with us. Just seems unprofessional to do that. We always tip but don’t like to be told to do it. It should be up to every customer how much they want to tip without feeling pressured to say the amount of tip Before you pay your total. I won’t choose to come here again. Sorry!

Most of the reviews I see about this restaurant are dated. Today I ordered a pizza for pickup and when I brought it home the pizza was like eating cardboard with no taste. Flat out horrible. I called to express my issue but was dismissed by the individual who answered.

I have been coming to Chiaro’s Skippack for years. The Italian dishes are so authentic, and the pizza is the best pizza every time! I rarely eat pizza anywhere else but here. The prices are way low considering the quality of the food. Not to mention the staff keeps me coming back for more! Love this pizzeria. You guys are wonderful.

A like coming here for their pizza but they offer a lot of other Italian meals on the menu. The place actually has a lot of seating and I’ve never seen it anywhere close to being full. Service is always good and friendly and prices are very reasonable for the portion sizes. The food is good, but don’t expect anything special. They used to charge for refills on soda, but it seems they have finally stopped that practice.

It gets 1 star before I even make an attempt to try the food, the woman on the phone(pennsburg) was extremely rude and all of the information I received was wrong. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I can only imagine what the food is like if the staff is this bad. Wow.

Had a the special sub for around $ 7 and it was well worth it. Chock full of good tasting Italian style meat, around 12″ long and was pretty hefty. Would definitely recommend stopping for lunch if you’re in the area. My waitress was very fast with everything as well. The only thing that bothered me was the no free refill sign… as if fountain drinks are exceptionally expensive.

Great pizzeria food. Great, honest wait staff. I left my large camera bag with $ 800 worth of new equipment in it. The wait staff could have easily said that a customer took it and would have been that much richer of the latest high-end Nikon camera, lenses, etc. When I realized and returned two days later, they had it in safe keeping for me. Kudos for their honesty! Please patronize them.

Not sure what these other reviews are talking about. We order Chiaro’s almost every Friday because we love their pizza & wings. Much better than Anthony’s & Skippack Pizza.

Overall it was just an average pizza place. My family went there on a Friday night recently. We ordered a white pizza, mozzarella and roasted red pepper salad, mussels in red sauce, and a cup of chili. The white pizza was nothing special. It could use some fresh garlic sprinkled on top instead of the powdered stuff. But the dough was good and fresh. The chili was thick but plain. Again, nothing unique about it. The mussels were, unfortunately, «mussely,» they had that weird fishy flavor to them. All of the above would have probably resulted in a 3 star review from me, or perhaps a two and a half. However, the buffalo mozzarella salad was a huge disappointment. The buffalo mozzarella itself was spongy, not smooth at all, like it had been frozen at one time. Certainly not fresh. It was supposed to come with toasted red peppers but there were only a few red peppers on the plate, almost like a garnish. And the balsamic vinaigrette that was«drizzled» on top was so watery it just flowed to the bottom of the plate. Plus the tomatoes on the bottom of the plate were not even close to ripe. This dish alone was a big disappointment.

Ok I have been here a few times. Its your everyday family owned italian pizzeria. I’ve never had any complaints about this place. The pizza is great, their veggie grinder is very good and they have friendly service! But last night I was craving pizza like a mad woman so I called up Chiaro’s and ordered and medium pie with peppers and onions and a veggie grinder for my husband. When I asked for peppers and onions the guy on the phone seemed a little confused. Now, I have to say since I moved to this area I haven’t had a decent piece of pepper and onion pizza… I don’t know why… Anyway… So I hang up and assume that the pizza will suck but I didn’t really care because I was starving! So I go up and grab the pizza and the sub. The price was a little high — $ 22.00 …but when I tasted this pizza the angels began to sing. It was INCREDIBLE! They used regular white onions but instead of using green/red bell peppers they must have used pickled sweet peppers… Amazing! SOSOSO delicious! So thats my review. It’s a little pricey but in my opinion worth the price!
