Frog Pond Bed & Breakfast

Skaneateles is a beautiful little town on a pretty, immense and clear lake. This B & B is located a couple of miles from the center of the town. The property is on the National Register of Historic Places. It’s on a large piece of land, ideal for getting away from urban life and enjoying the quiet.
There are only two rooms. My husband and I stayed in Laura’s room, which was beautiful. Actually, the whole house looks impeccable. There are free snacks and drinks and a living room area guests can use downstairs. When we went in the summer we were woken up early by the sound of many birds singing. Then we had breakfast. We’re not usually breakfast-​people, but the fresh fruit and mint (some from the garden) with yogurt, honey and preserved lemon were incredible.
This place made us feel as though we discovered a secret haven. It was really great.
