History

Established in 1879.

Oldest surviving business in Fountain Inn. Cannon Funeral Home has been serving families of Fountain Inn and Simpsonville for 135 years. Cannon Funeral Home was founded by Mr. Jim Cannon in 1879 and was passed down through the generations until Mr. James Cannon sold the business in 1989. Cannon Funeral Home-​Jones Chapel was opened on West Curtis Street in Simpsonville in 1990 before Stewart Enterprises acquired the funeral homes and cemetery in 1996. On July 25, 2014 Greg and Debbie Rollings purchased both Cannon Funeral Home-​Jones Chapel and Cannon Memorial Park, Funerals and Cremations making us once again a family owned business.
