History

Established in 2008.

Lin Lin Li Heine opened Yin Yang Acupuncture in Simi Valley on March 1, 2008.

Lin Lin is the owner as well as being a Doctor of Oriental Medicine and a board certified MD (China) for 19 years. She personally administers the earpoint acupuncture (her speciality), along with her traditional techniques, including herbal facials with acupuncture as well as the custom mixed Chinese Herbs that are used to treat a plethora of conditions.

Chinese acupuncture goes back more than 5,000 years. Some of the conditions treated are: Weight Loss, Smoking Cessation, Fatigue and stress relief, pain management, Menopause, Constipation, Hypertension, Sinues, Asthma, Arthritis, Migraine Headaches, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Sciatica and Bell’s Palsy.

Dr Lin Lin is the best Dr. I have ever had. I went here with bad pain in my foot. After going to Dr Lin Lin for maybe six months, my foot was well (and still is), and my savings account was empty. It is very expensive, but effective. I would still be going to her, but I do not have the money to afford it.

I have had acupunture and is not supposed to be like that.

I have been getting treated by Dr. Lin for heart and diabetes issues. Besides the acupuncture treatments she also has herbal remedies and superb medical massage services. She works extremely hard to help and is amenable to trying different approaches to get the best results. In 2 months, I have lost 30 lb, reduced my blood sugar from astronomical to normal, lowered my blood pressure and pulse rate, reduced my medications, essentially eliminated my aches and pains, and gone from a seemingly hopeless level of physical activity to being able to work out 12 to 15 hours a week. I am truly grateful to her and do not hesitate to recommend her to others.

I saw Dr. Lin years ago, and I remembered she was really good. I recently had a very, very painful lower back situation. I went to the chiropractor, my doctor, was on anti-​inflammatories, muscle relaxers, steroids, etc. Nothing was working. I seriously thought I would never be out of pain again.
As a last resort, I decided (seven weeks later!) to try acupuncture. I had two visits (she said it would probably take six), and the muscle released the nerve that it was pressing on and causing me so much pain! I literally could NOT believe it. I was AMAZED!
She truly is a master of her profession. I would VERY highly recommend her. She is honest with you, tells you if she can help you or not, and really is true to her word as to how many sessions it will take. She really cares about her patients.
Some people really don’t accept acupuncture as a way of healing — I am a true believer! And even though my insurance doesn’t cover acupuncture, I will definitely try Dr. Lin BEFORE I go to my regular doctor the next time something is really bothering me!

Simply said: Dr. Lin Lin has given me my life back! I began seeing her in January 2014 after months of excruciating, debilitating migraines, and a western doctor whose only answer was pharmaceuticals. I’d had severe headaches for many years, but throughout 2013 they became progressively worse, and prescribed medications had unbearable side effects. I’d driven by the Yin Yang clinic for many years and finally decided to give acupuncture a chance since nothing else had worked.
Dr. Lin Lin was open and honest, and told me that, due to the severity of my condition, it would take 4 to 6 months to be truly well again, but that I would begin to see significant improvements within 6 to 8 weeks. In that my problems took time to develop, they would take time be corrected. I began a religious twice-​a-​week treatment plan, and exactly as she diagnosed and predicted, I got progressively better. There were a few minor setbacks but Dr. Lin Lin never became discouraged and constantly evolved her treatment program to achieve her desired results. She got me off of medication, brought my blood pressure back under control (problems caused by medication side effects), and took my headaches from frequent and extremely painful, to infrequent and bearable, to rare and mild. I still have related neck and shoulder problems that she continues to work on, but I’ve gone down to weekly or semi-​monthly visits depending on what’s going on. She’s re-​connected me with my qi (chi) and brought me back into balance.
Words cannot adequately express my thankfulness and gratitude for Dr. Lin Lin and her healing gifts!

I had horrible carpal tunnel in my right hand since month 7 of my pregnancy, and even months after having my baby back in November. Couldn’t feel my 3 middle fingers and would constantly have to shake my hand because it would feel completely dead and numb. Dr. Lin Lin said she could help me in 6 visits. I was still a bit doubtful after the first 3 appointments because instead of numbness I now had tingling but still little sensation. But I kept going and lo and behold, by visit 5, the symptoms were drastically lessened, and after the 6th appointment, it continued to keep getting better on its own. Now, I have ZERO numbness in my right hand! I couldn’t believe it. I’m thinking of going to her now for tendonitis, which is also due to being a new mom, but this time from constantly holding the baby. She’s the real deal.

Dr. Lin Lin has helped me immeasurably! After six months of a swollen foot (8 doctors, mri, ct scan, ultrasound, xray later) all the conventional doctors said it was Lymphaderma (latin for «your foot is swollen and we don’t know why») I decided to go to YinYang for treatment — the improvement was immediate and now 6 weeks later my foot is just about back to normal. I have been going for acupuncture twice a week and she just added lymphatic massage (Debbie is fantastic). She also made a blend of herbs for me to take daily. At first I was hesitant — what? 5 capsules twice a day? Yikes — but man, right away I felt improvement in my sleep habits, I had way less anxiety and my digestive system was vastly improved. If you want to increase your general vitality or need help with a specific ailment as I did with my foot, do you self a great favor and go to see Dr. Lin Lin. I wish I had not wasted all that time trying to get a diagnosis and just went to her to get well! Highly recommend her whole team.

After 35 years of nursing and my back going out chronically, I had an acute episode where I could not get out of bed. I had my family help me and with lots of NSAIDS on board and a walker I borrowed I hobbled into Dr. Lin Lin’s office, I couldn’t even drive. This was the worst I had EVER been. After 3 treatments, it was 50% better, after 6 treatments, it was completely gone!
I plan on using her in the future instead of drugs. She is kind, loving and very understanding. I highly recommend her to anyone.

After an injury, my HMO MDs could only offer drugs and surgery for my lingering pain, so I found Dr. Lin Lin on Unilocal and decided to give acupuncture a try. Over several months of treatment, Dr. Lin Lin has really been able to help eliminate the pain I was having with a combination of acupuncture, herbs, and exercises I would practice at home– without drugs or surgery. I had callous like warts on my hands and knuckles for over 16 years. Over that time, I tried freezing, acidic treatment, several types of laser therapy, and most recently, eastern medicine from another provider. Frustrated with the lack of results, I gave up. Finally, a family member convinced me to try one more time. Based on Unilocal reviews, I selected Yin Yang Acupuncture. On my first visit, Dr. Lin Lin looked at my hands and very kindly said that she would help me.
I was very skeptical after so many failures. Yet, within 2 visits I began to see real, lasting progress. The combination of acupuncture and herbs began whitling away these stubborn warts that had been an eyesore for years. I couldn’t believe it as it was happening. I have been seeing Dr. Lin Lin for 3 months now and there is almost no trace of my previous condition.
Besides the effective treatment, her manner is always kind and considerate. Dr. Lin Lin always asks how I am doing, explains all aspects of the treatment, and shares stories from her childhood in China. She is such a kind person who really cares for her patients. I consider myself very fortunate to have her help and am forever grateful.

I woke up with Bells Palsy on January 7th. My mother suggested I give acupuncture a try because nothing seemed to be improving. I found Dr. Lin’s office through Unilocal.Can’t express how happy and excited I was to see my smile come back after the third session!
If you have Bells Palsy, don’t hesitate to give acupuncture a shot. It helped me and my face was back to normal in two weeks… Bells Palsy usually takes months, and sometimes up to a year to go away. I’m really fortunate that my case was just a few weeks. And i thank Dr. Lin Lin for all that she has done for me. She’s sweet and really cares about her patients.

The best acupuncturist EVER! I had chronic pain & inflammation in both of my hands for about 7 years and after all types of Western meds failed, Dr. Lin Lin gave me my hands back, pain free! She is truly an angel & extremely knowledgeable in alternative medicine. Her office is very relaxing & I always look forward to my visit every 8 – 12 weeks for maintenance of my Qi. I have experienced healing I NEVER thought possible through my treatments with Lin Lin. She is caring & passionate about helping others heal. Recently she started treating my mom. My mom suffered an aneurysm 4 years ago and had NO movement in her right arm & leg. After only one treatment my mom was able to move her arm and leg slightly. Now, just 2 weeks later after 4 treatments she can bend her knee & lift her arm almost above her head. Incredible. She is also starting to speak again. It is truly unbelievable.
