Xpress Lube Service Center

Today was my first experience here. Great service done efficiently and thoroughly. I will definitely be coming back and referring my friends and family. I love the fact that you can stay in your car and not have to drop it off and wait hours and hours for a call that it’s ready. There was no push to buy unnecessary services. That is a huge plus for me. Thanks xpress lube for a great first impression.

Hands down some of the BEST customer service you’ll get in your lifetime. These guys are so incredibly polite and honest. You can tell that whoever is running this business knows the value of excellent customer service because his/​her staff is trained to impress their customers.

Emailed a few questions through Unilocal and Tom the owner promptly replied with the answers. I went with my daughter in her Lexus IS 250 to the service station at 4560 LA Ave and waited for one car to finish up. The service tech’s took care of everything and were efficient and courteous.

I was due for an oil change and was the first one I had to actually pay for since my Toyota care was over. I had coupons from the dealer and also got a coupon from this place. I decided to come here as I didn’t feel like encountering pushy sales people at the dealership. My car uses synthetic oil but I was still able to use the coupon. They were very informative and friendly. I know very little about cars but they were able to dumb it down enough to me so I could make the right choices. Last but not least they were FAST! I was in and out in about 20 mins.

I am very sceptical when it comes to trying new places and given the fact that I just moved here (Simi Valley) from Illinois, there are A LOT of new places I must try. This place was hands down amazing! From the moment I pulled in front of the bay doors, they were attentive. I expressed my concern about having to drive the car myself into the bay and they said it was no problem and pulled it in for me. I was unfortunately on the phone from the very beginning (with the IRS, no fun) and they were very respectful, all while working on my oil change They did not try to upsell me, they were very upfront and honest, and they even gave me the paper for getting a free oil change after I get 6 done (and they all don’t need to be done on just one car). They showed me the dip stick (with the clean oil) after it was changed, and they showed my the oil filter they were putting in and the air filter (so I could see that I wouldn’t need to replace right then but maybe on my next visit). I have found my new place to get my oil changed for all my cars (thank goodness). You guys did awesome, I just feel bad I didn’t have more money on me for a tip (that is how great of a job they did, although they did not expect a tip).

I like this place, i’ve been a few times and they are quick and professional but one thing caught my eye last time and it’s a big safety deal. Brian who i’m assuming is the supervisor needs to wear his PPE in the apparatus bay. When the techs are wearing safety glasses and looking into your hood, he should be as well.

The quickest oil change I ever had and that didn’t try to over sell or lie to me about what words and doesn’t in my car. If you need an oil change I highly recommend this place!

i’ve never felt so compelled to write a 5 star review for a n y o n e– but here i am!
so wow, i hate the hassle of getting my oil changed. it’s out of the way, it’s time consuming, and i need synthetic oil so it’s pricey to-​boot! i’ve always gone to jiffy lube out of convenience, but leave every time swearing to never return. well, after today i won’t have to! joe was amazing. he was personable, honest, and informative. he didn’t try to sell me on a single thing, and even said my air filter shouldn’t need to be replaced until my next visit, unlike my cabin air filter that was clearly neglected for i don’t know how long! at check out he applied a $ 20 off coupon to my bill and gave me a frequent flyer card for a free oil change after i visit a few more times! i was also told that between oil changes they’ll top off up to a quart for free! so, in conclusion, i will no longer be bothered by oil changes now that i’ve found this gem! i didn’t even have to get out of the drivers seat!

I am so grateful for the excellent service provided by all the guys here! Every time my husband and I come we are greeted with kindness. My car is very well taken care of and the money I spend here is worth every dollar. Special thanks to Joe!

A+ service! This place really understands customer service and gets the job done real quickly. This was my first time there and made it simple and even fun! They do full service, tires, windshield cleaning, etc! Unlike most oil places, I couldn’t get past how wonderful joe and his team work together and just have professional they are! This is definitely the best place to get your oil change in simi! They definitely have my service for now on :)

Based on my visit today–
Today I came into the Xpress Lube.-
I have been a LOYAL CUSTOMER SINCE 1982
I have NEVER BEEN ANYWHERE Else in all these years.
They do my oil changes as well as my fuel filter changes and transmission services.
So I pull in and hand the manager my Card that is «buy so many oil changes get one free». This oil change was going to entitle me to the next one free.
The manager looks at the card and then hands it back to me and says in a loud manner–
«Turn it over and read #7».
I did and it said no free oil change if you buy your own filter.
«So you don’t get a free oil change, the other manager got in trouble for this».
I told him I was not the one who got the manager in trouble as that card takes awhile to fill up for the «free oil Change».
He made me feel very embarrassed and he hurt my feelings.
Since I always brought my own filter hey certainly had NO BUSINESS handing me that card back after each change making me think I was earning something. You see they know I buy the oil filter as I always walk next door to the GMC DEALER to buy it.
Why did they ever hand me the card in the first place? Even better after this oil change they filled out a card and handed it to me… I gave it back and told them I was done.
I am done with this place.
I drive out of my way to come here, there are oil change places close to home AND I could just as easily pull into the GMC dealership-​where I bought my vehicle– and have them do it.
I want to point out that the other gentlemen that helped me today was very nice. It was only the manager who treated me poorly.

I have been going here since the 80’s.
As has my family.
They have great service.
Just watch the upsell program.
Example they want to sell you an air filter-​and their aftermarket part is more expensive then an OEM part by about 15 dollars.
The nice thing is if you bring your own air, oil or fuel filter they will install it.

Awesome service. Very kind owner and workers. Every 7^th oil change is free. My front window was cleaned during the service, tires pumped, all fluids topped off, and I am a happy customer. Thank you so much for your work! I will be returning for the next service.

This is our go to oil change place. They are very thorough and friendly. Love the complimentary air in tires and window cleaning. We even got a free gift an air freshener!!!

My family has been coming here for years! We own 4 vehicles, & we always come here & we’ve always been pretty content. They check everything, from air filter, tires, coolant, wipers, breaks etc.

I’ve been coming to this location for YEARS and last month I remembered why I keep choosing it. I went it for a 3,000 oil change and the manger, Steve, mentioned that my vehicle only requires a change every 5,000 miles. He said he would be happy to complete the service, but honestly, the oil was clean and it was a waste of my money and oil to change it so soon. Most places would simply haven taken my money and not said a word, but instead, they gave me a new sticker, told me to come back in a month or two, AND topped of my oil, checked my tire pressure and told me to have wonderful day.
They are friendly, professional and highly trusted not to sell you something you don’t need. I’m a lifetime customer. Thank you!
