The UPS Store

I’ve been going to this UPS location many times and for years. I think this store is run by a woman and a man. The woman is pretty much the only one I’ve dealt with in the past, I’m always very polite to her and she’s very nice to me. Whenever I’m shipping something she’s always very patient with creating the shipment order for me.
But just the other day, I’ve finally got to experience dealing with that man for the first time. And the man turned out to be a jerk just like many people on here said. When I approached the man, I was very polite and respectful as usual. I’ve handed him a prepaid UPS package and requested it to be scanned, and also requested for a receipt, which I’m entitled to obtained so that I have proof that I have left the package in UPS’s possession and in their responsibility. The man then immediately goes off whining and complaining about why would I need a receipt, that’s it’s wasting paper and that the paper cost them a lot of money, blah blah blah. This is first time I’ve experienced a business establishment hesitant to give out a receipt, and it was a important receipt, not as if I bought a pack of gum or something. And regardless if I’ve made any purchase from them that day or not, they have the responsibility to provide service all UPS packages and customers.
Another thing, the customer before me illegally parked in front of this store and I don’t see this man going off complaining and whining to that customer!
Minus 3-​stars for such as unbelievable experience! Left 2-​stars because the rest of store shouldn’t entirely take the blame that man’s unprofessional attitude. This place would have gone out of business a long time go if it weren’t for that nice lady!

Love going in here! Always very kind and social. The lady is very sweet. Knowledgeable and find the best/​cheapest way to ship. My favorite store to use.

Walked in and the cashier must have seen my uncertainty on what to do, so with a smile he grabbed my stuff and made my Amazon return quick and easy. With a slide of my card I was in and out of there in less than 3 minutes. Definitely doing all my UPS stuff here!

I think this store is great. I have gone here for many years and found them to go above and beyond. They don’t upsell you and they are fast.

RUDE !!! many of the other UPS Store locations offer Post office drop off as well, but this one does not. That is not the problem if that is their policy. Since The Location on Madera does accept them and so does the one in Thousand Oaks, I figured this one does too. I was there today and took a priority mail box to drop off. The Older man takes one look at it and with a really bad attitude says oh, you have to take it to the US post office young lady. Basically the way he said it was condescending like I didn’t know that it was a priority mail package. I said the location on Madera accepts them, In fact they were the ones who told me they accept postal packages otherwise i would not have known., Like the other locations, this one also says postal solutions on the sign. so he starts yelling at me how they don’t lug packages for free. Up until that point I was not in the least bit rude, I asked a simple question and was interrupted and yelled at. I don’t recommend going there unless you like being abused.

I shipped an xbox1 from this store. Package was lost and the associate never created a tracking number for the item. I will never do business with them again.

Great service here. Go here when you need notary or pack n ship service. Nice and helpful staff.

This is my third time here. The older lady in the front is so nice, helpful and always greets with a smile. Lots of older customers so the downfall it takes time to just send a package out– because they are all chit chatting with this wonderful worker. I recommend it as long as you’re not in a rush, or if you have the package ready to go and just drop it off.

These people are horrible. The guy was told multiple times by his female co-​worker to «Check his attitude» after telling a customer the he didn’t care if the package was delivered on time. They charge you for the simplest of things like tape, slight packing and are just generally miserable people. Stupid Simi Valley.

I had a package rerouted here that needed an in person signature. UPS recommended using one of the stores near my work. For a $ 5 fee they would sign for the package. Sounded easy enough.
I show up to pick up the package and I am greeted by an older surly woman named Jeannie. I tell her that I am there to pick up a package. She said, «Did you call and tell us it was coming?» I said, «No, I didn’t know I needed to.» She said, «We usually refuse them if we don’t know they are coming.» What kind of sense does this make!!!
I told her that I checked the tracking and it was signed for by someone named Duncan at this location. She went and got the package. She then wanted my ID. She noticed the name was different than the name on the package. She started to give me an attitude about that as well. I told her that UPS said anyone with the same street address on their ID could pick up the package so she gave it to me.
Does UPS not communicate with these people or are they making up the rules as they go!!!
All I know is that I will NEVER go there again.

So I came here yesterday to drop off a package and was horribly greeted by the older man working at the front. It was at least 45 minutes until closing so I’m not really sure what the issue was.
The package I was shipping was a return and the company stated on the instructions to get some sort of UPS stamp to ensure that the product was returned. Again, the older man had a rude response about how the company is stupid for even asking for such a thing. I agreed to the other option, which was getting the tracking code receipt, and the employee continued to explain how even that receipt was useless. So in the end I just dropped off my package and left. Will I ever come back to this store? Of course not! There was no need for this employee’s rudeness and that’s how you lose business.

I absolutely love this place! I will not go anywhere else. the owners are awesome and very helpful! I have been overwhelming the owners with all of my packages and they have been nothing but patient and kind to me every time i come in here.

Love this UPS store! Seriously the only place I can reliably know in Simi Valley that will have a notary any time they are open!

I deliver my boxes to this store 5 days a week. Both owners are kind, helpful and very hard working people. They go out of their way to help customers. I would strongly recommend this store and the owners as customer service is a priority for them.

I live in the San Fernando Valley and I drive to this UPS store for the fantastic service. I have never had a bad experience here and as mentioned I am always greeted and have had things packed etc. I have never encountered any problems. This is what customer service should be.
