Established in 1987.

The staff is always helpful and well informed, and the product quality far exceeds many of the other places we checked. They have a large selection (I sound like a commercial) and are plenty happy to let you take the time necessary to be confident in your selection. We’ve been here twice and will come back again. Judy is the best. She’s the reason I shop here. When I moved to Simi I needed a new mattress for one of my spare bedrooms. Went there and Judy was helpful, knew her product and arranged delivery promptly. Two years later I’m back today to buy another mattress and Judy helped me again AND remembered me! Bought another mattress today to replace a Cali King in my master. Thanks Judy! Another satisfied customer due to her exemplary service and friendliness.

We have been on a sleep # bed for over 12 years. Over the last few years we’ve replaced the air chambers and started having problems with the air pump. Also we’re having aches and pains over the past couple years, even the 5 dogs that sleep with us started complaining about their backs. Time for a new mattress. We shopped about 8 local stores and decided we wanted twin xl with adjustable bases. The Sleep Shoppe was $ 300 cheaper on each base than the next lowest store. On mattresses and bases $ 1500 cheaper than Sit and Sleep (You’re killin’ me Larry) and $ 800 cheaper than anywhere else. Their delivery guys were GREAT!!! The first night on the new bed was AWESOME!!! No tossing and turning from aches and pains and not stiff in the morning. Plus the bed is 6 inches wider than our cal king and gives all 7 of us room to stretch out.

Came with my Dad yesterday, as his mattress is about 20 yrs old. The man who helped us, didn’t get his name, was very knowledgeable. My Dad had picked a
extremely hard mattress, but i stay there sometimes so he wanted me to e happy too. We ended up going with a more pricey mattress that was firm but had some cush to it too. If you check in on Unilocal,you get two free pillows with the mattress purchase. Who doesn’t like free??? Parking lot is small and can get cramped. The level of customer serviee is very very good. Pries are in line with the big sleep centers too. He gets his new mattress tonight! Yay!

What can I say about the service provided to us in the store? Mike was amazing and attentive. He made sure we got the best deal possible. He knows how to explain about the different types of mattresses and made good recommendations. We won’t be getting delivery until the end of the month so I’ll update then to say if we like the product.

I bought my bed here just the other day my first night sleep was great .Judy was very helpful with getting me the right bed and spent plenty of time with me to make sure I was getting the right bed. Judy called me after I received my bed to make sure I everything was ok. I would shop here again.

Just bought our very first memory foam mattress from here and we are very happy thus far. We spent quite a few days trying out several beds in the shop and getting information. We were well informed and could have bought a mattress from Costco for cheaper but what sold us was the ability to try the bed and the no pressure customer service. We also had an experience that might have had some folks upset about their purchase but they actually did right by us.
The original bed we wanted was in our price range but when they went to order it, the company had discontinued the bed we wanted. Basically they had all the sizes except for the Cal. King. So, the Sleep Shoppe sold us a more expensive bed at the same price… and I am not talking $ 100 more… I am talking much more. I am sure they didn’t make any money on the sale but at the end of the day, they wanted to keep the customer happy and that’s what they did.
I can appreciate a company that goes out of their way to make the customer happy and that is what The Sleep Shoppe did.

Let me start by saying, I had no idea what I wanted, but Judy worked with me and listened to what I thought I wanted. I bought a new mattress & boxspring for my daughter and she’s 21 and about to move out so I wanted her to have a nice mature looking bedroom to grow with, and Judy showed a catalog with beautiful furniture. I got the whole set for less than I couldn’t ever imagined. My daughter loves her room. If you want the best selection and no pressure. I suggest to buy your next bed at The Sleep Shoppe.

Just returned from the shop and made our very first mattress purchase! We went to Macy’s first and weren’t given much attention (probably because we are young), but when we arrived here, we immediately felt comfortable. Mattress shopping just isnt very comfortable (i.e. laying on beds in front of others lol). But Jonathan (our salesman) made it comfortable and he was extremely knowledgeable. He listened to why we needed a new bed and what factors played a part in choosing the right one for us. On top of it all, he showed us ONLY the mattresses that were in our price range.
I highly recommend this shop on the corner… Great variety of mattresses to choose from and great service. We were not planning on purchasing tonight but we were sold because we were taken care of. Thanks for great service! Cant wait to try out our new bed!
