Thank you, Bill!!! You saved our vacation! We went to Simi RV to grab a part to fix our water tank. Unbeknownst to us it was not a simple part and they would have to fix it themselves with a machine. And of course, being only days before Thanksgiving, they were swamped and couldn’t take our trailer in to fix. Bill, from the service department, saw our frustration (we’re are leaving tomorrow am for our vacation) and somehow made it work! We just dropped it off and we’ll be on our way to our vacation tomorrow! Thank you Bill! We appreciate it so much :)

We can’t speak to some of the posted experiences that were bad. We CAN tell you about our experience.
Back in July of this year we decided to buy a PrimeTime Tracer 230fbs. Simi RV had one but before we got back to the dealership it was sold. We were sad. The salesman we were working with, Bob Morehouse, said we could get another one from the factory so we put our money down. It didn’t come in when promised and again we had sad faces. We expressed our sadness to Bob and next thing you know we get a call from the factory rep at PrimeTime, Mark, who told us it was not Simi’s fault it was the manufacturer. PLUS Mark said the coach they were building for us had some mid model year enhancements. Happy faces all around because we were getting their latest and greatest.. .at the original price for the «old» one! The trailer finally arrived and we took delivery. Dawn in credit was great to work with and Bob took his time going through all aspects of the trailer and hook up. THEN he drove with us to make sure the trailer brakes and everything worked after it was hooked up to our Jeep and THEN he accompanied us to where we are storing it and helped us park it. WAY above the call of duty in my humble opinion. This is the first time we’ve purchased a new RV and this is the first time we’ve dealt with Simi RV. It was a long process to get to delivery, but the team at Simi RV blew us away with their 5 star customer service and continued updates regarding delivery. We can’t speak to mechanical service yet since this is a new trailer, so be looking for that rating in a year or two, though I expect it will exceed our expectations as well. Oh, and PrimeTime’s Tracer is a fantastic trailer and is built REALLY well!
If you live in ANY proximity to Simi Valley and are looking for an RV or sand toy, you have to go see Bob Morehouse at Simi RV. They have a great selection and great prices! Ask for Bob. He knows customer service.

I live a mile or so from them but I will drive 30+ miles to Ventura or Santa Clarita instead of visiting this store. If you didn’t purchase your RV from them, then they treat you as a 2^nd class customer. An RV battery I purchased from them went bad after 6 months, so when I took it in to them they said, «What do you want us to do about it?» Really? How about offer me an exchange or to test it or something…
Rude, unknowledgeable parts people. Just take your business elsewhere, they’re not worth the headache.

RV OWNERS BEWARE!!!
I waited some time before I posted this review. Well here we go. I took my uncle’s RV to Simi RV to sale it for him. After putting it on the lot for a few weeks. I got a call from Jim on a Tuesday morning and he asked me if I had picked up my RV. I said no I was on a company trip. Jim said let me call you back in a few minutes. When he called me back he said he was looking on his Video and someone on a bike rode on the lot then rode off and five minutes later my RV was driven off his lot. I asked Jim if it was still parked in the same spot? Jim said yes all the way in the back of the sales lot. I asked him if his insurance would cover it Jim replied NO YOUR insurance will cover it. So I told him I would call my uncle and have him call his insurance. I said I will be home at end of the week and will come by and get my keys, paper work and police report. Jim reply’s I will give you everything but your keys. I asked him where are my keys? Jim said I DON“T KNOW SOMEONE MUST HAVE LOST THEM OR LEFT THEM IN THE RV OR SOMETHING… I found it funny that he did not have my keys and they usually have his trucks parked at the front gate. That night no trucks parked at front gate and no chains up and no keys… I HAVE LOOKED EVERY NIGHT I AM ON LA AVE AND HIS TRUCK HAS BEEN PARKED IN FRONT WITH THE CHAIN UP. HUMMM!!!
Also when you go in his shop the keys are in a lock box but the lock box is wide open. No one in the office and key lock box open. I sent a friend into Simi RV a few weeks ago and the lock box is still open with no sale people in the office. If anyone wants to see a picture please reply I have a picture.
Long story short please be careful when dropping your RV at Simi RV. Jim still to this day has never even said he was sorry. I will never buy anything from him or his company.

Buyer be aware…

On May 27 I picked up my RZR from Simi RV which had a complete tune up service right befor a three day 4×4 trip I was taken with friends. Cost of service was over $ 450.
On the second day of the trip the engine seized. On May 30 I dropped off the RZR to find out what happened and cost for repair.
I recived a call from Chuck (the mechanic) saying the cost for repair is $ 1400 and the cause for the damage was do to me running in full throttle for a long period. I agreed to the cost of repair.
The next call I got from Chuck was that the RZR is ready for pick up but now the total bill was over $ 3000. When I reminded Chuck that he told me $ 1400 his words were «you must be dreaming «and was very rude to me. Remember Simi RV has no authorization nor a sight paper working allowing them to work on my RZR what’s so ever.
I tried to solve this problem by taking to the general manger Jim Rampton, which lead no wear. One of his comments was «I may just take all the parts off «and «we are not going to warranty the work if you don’t pay the full amount of the bill «which makes me very uncomfortable with the work that was/​may have been done.
By working on my RZR with no authorization Simi RV breaks «CA code 16 of regulations section 3353 by engaging in work without proper prior customer authorization»
I feel like this is the way they work by giving you a low bid on repair cost and ones the job is done charging you higher and forcing you to pay the bill.
I fell mislead, cheated and bulled by Simi RV and don’t recommend for anyone to work with them.

I couldn’t leave a rating with No stars because how are you suppose to write a review when you have 3 sales people, 1 chomping down his food when we are right in front of them having to ask them questions on their inventory. Another busy with a customer, and another in their cubicle and not interested. We never received a greeting or even an interest in seeing what we were looking for. Little do they know we were looking for 2 travel trailers. One for us and brother in law that was with us. We had some much time wasted here I was able to call 2 other dealerships and check on their inventory. So guess what, we are both heading down to them instead. Sad since we thought we would give a local dealership the business.

I want everyone to know Not to purchase a Polaris from Simi Valley RV. In Sunday ad they had a 2015 Polaris for $ 11,995. We drove all the way from Ventura purchase it. In deed they did have it and it was only when we sat down to purchase it is when they said the ad was wrong and the New price was $ 16,780. We said that was bait and switch. Jeff said that the newspaper got the ad wrong and the new price was $ 5000 higher. We thanked them for wasting our time and left. This is wrong in many ways. Then I saw on Unilocal that they don’t service any RV not purchased from them. I ask everyone bocott Simi Valley RV for many reasons.

After having a horrible experience with Mike Thompson, went Simi RV and purchased a 2015 Forest River Forester. Everyone at Simi R.V. Was excellent, friendly and professional.
Our salesman Glen was the best ever. He listened to our needs and matched us with exactly what we wanted. Highly recommend over anyone out there.

CI have not worked in a place that was (at the time I was there) so customer focused… but they did/​do believe in there customers… give them a chance!!!

So disappointing. We live close to this place, but bought our Trailer from Family RV in Pamona because we got a better deal. Tried to make an appointment with Simi RV to get some warranty work done and they told us (rather bluntly and rudely) that they couldn’t help us since we hadn’t bought out trailer from them. Not even apologetic about it because they are busy or something. Just… nope, we can’t help you. And our guy at Family RV actually recommended them. I’ll be letting him know that they aren’t a good service option.
The sales and service departments may be different. But it’s doubtful I would ever buy a trailer from a place with service like this. Maybe it’s for the best as the idea of pulling my rig in to that tight space for work does not sound appealing.

Kinda bummed they could not pick up the phone when they are open! Sad. had to drive to another store. I figure they are so busy they don’t have time for my rv needs.

Very friendly people working here! Came in just to look around, but we might come back and test drive and get my wife a nice bday present!

My Wife and I just purchased a 2013 Keystone Sprinter from Simi RV. Norm couldn’t have been more helpful in getting us all setup. Actually everyone at Simi RV was super helpful and great to work with. Now if only I can get my wife to let me buy a Polaris RZR 1000, I’ll be back to get that from them.

I went there with the intention of a peek and a test drive and walked out with a new recreational vehicle at better than a respectable price!!! the service I received from both Brad and Dawn was exceptional and I highly recommend making all your purchases for your recreational needs at the Simi Valley RV the customer service was excellent… there was no badgering and/​or pressure… they worked extremely hard professionaly and passionately at getting you… what you want! Thank you Simi RV

Great lot with a TON of inventory. They have different layouts coming in constantly.
First trailer or seasoned buyers, all sizes and levels of luxury available and all at the best price around.
Service sets the bar well above competitors.
You can’t go wrong at Simi RV.

I never knew this place existed until my buddy told me about it. I purchased my 2014 rzr from Berts but Berts is lil far to take my rzr in for service so i called SImi Rv. I had a lil leak in the water pump on my brand new rzr. I called Simi RV polaris service and spoke to Chuck. I advised him i bought my unit from Berts and he told me i was welcomed at Simi Rv and to bring in my rzr to take a look at the leak. So i brought my rzr in and what can i say about Chuck. That guy is AWESOME!!! Friendly and knowledgeable. I looked at my leak and right away knew what was leaking. I also told him about a possible cv boot problem and he told me he would look at all the cv boots and make sure everything is ok. And the service bay is soo clean u can eat off the floor. i felt bad bringing in my dirty rzr into his service bay.
A week later, Chuck called me and advised me my rzr was all fixed and ready. I went to go pick it up and again Chuck told me what he did and if i have anymore problems to call him or just bring it back it. I asked him about getting extended warranty and he recommended me to the finance lady Dawn. Dawn assisted me in purchasing an extended warranty and she was quick with the paperwork. I was in and out of there with my fixed rzr and extended warranty in less than 30 mins. All i can say is im definitely bringing my rzr back to simi RV for service.
Chuck and Dawn thks for everything .u guys are AWESOME!!! keep up the good work. your attitude and professionalism is what keeps a business going.
Only negative thing i could mention about simi rv is the parking lot or lack of for dropping off my rzr is little tight. But its not a big deal because both times ive been there, someone has helped me back up my truck and trailer onto the street.again.great customer service.

They matched pricing from camping world on my
a/​c cover, so I bought an additional 80.00 worth of repair parts for my grey tank.

I had been looking for an RV center to carry out a fairly simple repair job on my 1997 Coleman Hydraulic Pop-​up trailer and had spoken to 5 or 6 places that weren’t willing to help. I spoke with these guys and had the trailer booked in within 10 days. A bit of a mistake in ordering the part needed, but handled very professionally would mean that I go back there in future… don’t get frustrated by their terrible phone call handling… just leave a message!

I called the Service Dept to bring in my Coach for some repairs, in addition I wanted to buy some Accesories. The service advisor asked me if I purchased the Coach from them? I told him no, it was purchased out of state. He then told me he would not assist me, unless I bought it from them! Seriously I asked? And his said «yes-​unless you bought the RV from us, we aren’t interested!»
What year is this? To deny a customer service. and worse, a customer looking to purchase items? Especially in a small town, where word of mouth is so powerful. I tried to buy the Coach from them, but after negotiations, they never followed up with me. so I was forced to go elsewhere. I emailed the owner my experience with his service dept, and never got a response.
I contacted the second nearest dealer who without hesitation, set an appt and thanked me for thinking of them! I will update you on that experience shortly…
