History

Established in 2012.

Sheroes Entertainment LLC has been featured at Paris Fashion Week, VH1, MTV, and is known worldwide for its realistic mermaid performers and Hollywood quality children’s entertainers including princesses, knights, fairies, dragons, balloon twisters, glitter tattoo artists, and face painters.

All performers average 5+ years of experience in children’s education, performance, acting, and competitive sports-​based work. Most of their costumes used are handcrafted in house the USA using the finest of materials including silks and crystal making them popular with photographers and clients who place an emphasis on both performance and appearance quality.

The company is 100% drug & alcohol free, actively promotes diversity, and has the most comprehensive screening and training policies for pool party work in the USA. i had the great pleasure to work with sheroes entertainment twice this summer and it was always a hit! first my 7 year old daughter took a mermaid swim lesson with malibu and it was such a great experience for my girl — she will remember this a life time! virginia and her staff are super professional and very sweet with the kids. second i worked with mermaid lily in the context of a family photo shoot. lily was very easy-​going, very lovely with the family’s kid, always on point when i asked her to do certain ‘mermaid tricks and moves’ while swimming in the pool. i would defintely work with them again and again. thank you, virgina!

Amazing Party! Virginia and her awesome assistant made my son’s 10th birthday party unforgettable! It was a mixed group of 4th grade boys and girls, and Virginia had them all engaged. Every child loved learning the art of archery and by the end of the party they all had improved with their skills tenfold! On top of being an amazing archer/​teacher she was extremely organized. My son already wants her back for his next birthday! I would HIGHLY recommend this entertainment outfit!

Can’t say enough good things about my experience. 5 year old daughter needed a pirate princess and they delivered. She was professional, the kids loved her and she kept them totally occupied with fun games, sword lessons and a treasure hunt. I recently hired Virginia as an archery instructor for a reality television show. Never having done archery on a show, or had an expert on set, we were fairly skeptical at what she would bring. Luckily we were more then blown away with Virginia’s attentiveness to detail, the way she treated our crew as well as the talent, and the thought that went into her instruction.
Virginia was teaching 2 of our cast members, both of whom who had never shot an arrow before. Virginia was very patient and an extremely thoughtful instructor, helping our talent every step of the way, all while ensuring their safety AS WELL as the safety of the crew.
I would absolutely recommend Virginia to any and all productions, shows, personal lessons, or any other type of archery training. Myself as well as the other producers and network executives were thrilled with the experience that we had with Virginia, as well as the creative aspect she brought to our show.

I am so grateful for and thrilled over my experience with Virginia and Sheroes Entertainment. She is seriously amazing! For weeks I had struggled to find a vendor (that was closer to my remote location) who could provide the kind of archery experience I was looking for at a retreat being put on some distance outside of LA. Little did I know I could have made just one call directly to Sheroes Entertainment and saved myself the trouble. I can’t begin to even put into words the amount of magic, ease, talent, professionalism and expertise Virginia was able to bring to my event. Though my needs were definitely ‘outside the box’, Virginia was able to customize and tailor an experience that completely aligned with my retreat focus and theme and then some. She took care of every detail and it was perfect. Not only was I blown away but so were my retreat participants, they absolutely loved the experience. It really set our whole event apart and was a take away experience that they will never forget. We called Sheroes to find a «real» mermaid for our twins’ 6th birthday party. Virginia was so helpful and kind, explaining all the options and how the process works. We got a call the day prior, firming up the details and were told we’d be seeing Mermaid Ginger and Malibu. The next day, (30 min early!) they snuck in and helped us surprise the little ones in the pool. The kids were speechless! It was the most incredible thing seeing 20 6yr old faces light up like that! Mermaid Ginger was wonderful with the children, patient and sweet, answering all their questions and playing in the water with them. She led them in games and activities, posed for pictures, and then she & Malibu gave all the kids glittery, waterproof tattoos! It was a magical afternoon for my son & daughter and everyone is still talking about «the mermaid party». Both twins told me it was their best birthday ever! What more could you ask for??? We could not have been more pleased and cannot recommend Sheroes highly enough. Thank you, Virginia, Mermaid Ginger, and Malibu for an amazing, memorable birthday!!!

I am a photographer who has recently collaborated with Virginia on an underwater fashion show at The Dive Bar in Sacramento.
I was impressed with Virginia as a performer, and a professional. She was on time and prepared for her shoot. She was kind to all the crew and other performers. Last Saturday, I threw a Middle Earth themed birthday party for my now 10 year old son.
I hired Virginia from Sheroes Entertainment to come provide archery lessons for the kids, which was part of the «quest» they were on. Not only did Virginia show up early, with a professional attitude and equipment, but she and her assistant dressed up as elves and brought a specially-​made target with a red dragon (Smaug), specifically in theme for the party! What a great addition and surprise!
The kids had an absolute blast — the archery was so much fun! Virginia is wonderful and sweet, and she really knew how to handle the kids and keep them entertained. She is a brilliant archer, and she puts so much effort into every costume, event, and endeavor. Thank you for being such a perfect part of our party!!!
We will certainly work her in to whatever our theme is for next year!

I have used Virginia as Merida from the Disney movie Brave over and over again, and ever time she blows me and everyone away. There is only one women out there that is beautiful, has red hair, is an Archer, and can ride a hose like crazy good. And to top it all off she is SO good with kids. Well I guess there is 2. Virginia Hankins of Sheroes Entertainment arrived at my daughter’s 9th «Brave» themed birthday party as the character Merida, complete with a Scottish accent and bows and arrows… much to the joy and excitement of all the kids. They could not stop following her or wanting to be close to her — she beams with external and internal beauty and light.
Virginia is immensely professional, kind, funny and brilliant … as well as an extreme athlete and highly skilled archer and instructor. The children had a chance to not only experience the character in how closely Virginia resembles Merida-​but in her ability to give the kids all a serious archery lesson, too, giving this event so much more depth and enjoyment for the kids. They laughed, they learned and they LOVED her! It was 8 months ago and everyone is STILL talking about how much fun it was having her there.

My name is Jim Holdem, I am the founder of Fish for Life, a program that takes children with special needs fishing on the ocean… in grand style.
For the first time ever, we had Virginia surprise the kids as a Mermaid while out at sea! Her mermaid outfit was so very real looking as she so elegantly swam parallel to the 95ft vessel «Dana Pride» just off the shores of Dana Point. While swimming, she produced a charming smile as she was waiving to the children who were mesmerized at the site of a Mermaid.
With the help of a few divers and a private boat, «Catalina the Mermaid» was then brought back to the Dana Wharf where she was then placed on a table for the children to have a picture taken with her.
If you are considering having a Mermaid at your event /​party, Virginia Hankins with Sheroes Entertainment in my opinion is the only choice.
