See-Me Smog Test Only Center

Business hours are posted with an 8am open time for Saturday’s. I arrived at 840 and they were still closed. I went back at 10 and after sitting in line for 10 minutes, the guy doing the smog test walked up to my car and handed me the clipboard and said «here fill this out». No hello or good morning? Okay. Sat for another 15 minutes with no cars finished. I had my 3 year old with me and she was getting impatient. I noticed there were no cars across the street. I walked the clipboard up to the work station and got back in my car. I noticed he had stopped what he was doing to check the clipboard I dropped off. When he saw I had kept the paper and was reversing, he started yelling at me in front of all the customers (I was two cars back) that he was only going to be 5 minutes. I told him I didn’t see how that was considering there were people in front of me and the same car is still in the garage. I started my car up and he yelled out something that I didn’t hear. I’m sorry I missed it because I saw the other customers were all looking at me and laughing. I went across the street where they got me right in AND with a smile. By the time I was done with my smog check AND paying for my registration AND getting my plate sticker, I looked across the street and saw the car in front of me was finally in the garage. Because I got yelled at by him, I went back over to let him know, «that would have been a long 5 minutes, I’m done and I even got my plate sticker» his response «good for you» I will NEVER go back here. That was the worst customer service experience I have had in a very longtime. Good luck to you sir. I would suggest not yelling at people that are trying to be paying customers. You get one star because I feel sorry for you.

They were quite efficient and got thru a lot of customers quickly
I’ve lowered their rating because the batteries of BOTH our cars died within days of having our cars smog checked by them. I don’t know how it happened, but we had to call auto club twice.
If it had one car, we wouldn’t have been suspicious

I took my Sequoia in for it’s first smog today. I was very pleased with the service I received. The service was fast and friendly. The price was right there with all the other similar shops. I was on and out of there in 10 minutes! I will recommend See-​Me Smog Only to all my friends and I will be back next time.

If you you are looking for the meaning of life and the political opinion of the mechanic. Then this is the place for you. The mechanic was huge on talk and low on personality. Beware if you have only a certain amount of time, you might want to check another place.

We went here because it always seems busy and it was literally on the right side of the street.
There was one guy working and one customer ahead of us. Seeing us pull up the one worker dude greeted us promptly and gave us the appropriate paper work.
Worker dude finished up with the guy ahead of us and they seemed to get along swimmingly. Their interaction made me feel more comfortable with worker dude.
My husbando came along and peppered the WD with questions pertaining to our truck while me and the beasties sat on a nice bit of shaded bench.
Thank the good Lord that our truck passed! We paid (the price is average nothing special) and left. The whole ordeal took up about a half hour of our time.
The biggest seller point to going back here actually came from comments that my husband made. He remarked that he had, in the past, gone to the $ 10 cheaper check across the street at the Shell station but that the people there were rude. Husbando also commented on the fact that Worker Dude was a genuinely nice guy who gave honest and straightforward answers about our truck. This is high praise from husbando since most the time he seems indifferent to most things.
I recommend this place. It is simple and no frills but Worker Dude was honest and got the job done!

Charges $ 10 more for a smog than the Shell across the street and the guy has a terrible attitude.
