Love my new orthodontist here in simi! Great experience and friendly staff

I can’t say enough about how happy and impressed I’ve been with our experience at Dr. Negal’s office. They are as kind and professional as I could ever hope for, and my daughter’s progress is going as well (or better) than I had expected. I’ve used other orthodontists over the years for my other children, and I can honestly say they didn’t hold a candle to this office.

Dr Nagel are a nice group. they are friendly but most importantly, my daughters smile has never been prettier.

A great team and wonderful office environment. If you need Orthodontic care the Nagels are who you should see.

6 years later and I’ve still got nothing but stellar reviews for Dr. Nagel and his team. Since my last post, Dr. Nagel’s son, Dr. Jeff, has joined the team. They are sincerely two of the nicest men you’ll ever meet. The entire staff is so wonderful; they feel more like dear friends then a business. They always ask about my children, my work, my life — and show genuine care and interest in my response. My InvisAlign has been off for quite some time now and I just received a happy birthday email a couple of days ago. I’m telling you… do not look anywhere else for exceptional service — it sincerely doesn’t get any better than this!!! Love you guys!

They treat you like family and always have your best interest in mind: so much so that I look forward to my office visits. And, my teeth look great!

I started with Orthodontics late in life. My parents couldn’t afford braces for all three of us, so the one who needed them the most got them. Finally I decided it was time to do something about my teeth and bite since I suffered from chronic TMJ. Both the Dr.‘s are gentle and kind, and go out of their way to explain everything, every step of the way. I started with braces, then Invisalign and now have a retainer. There was no additional charge for the additional procedures, just the one contract price which I really appreciate. I didn’t need to worry that I couldn’t afford the additional treatment. I always look forward to my appointments at Nagel Orthodontics. We have gotten to know each other over the years, We have shared books, family stories, and even bagels and coffee when the office won a radio contest. I recommend the Drs. Nagel to anyone in need of Orthodontics, young, in between, and a little older, like me.

We had two kids who were treated by Dr. Nagel. Katie had to have extensive orthodontal work due to an overbite and TMJ issues which is a main reason that we were referred and chose Dr. Nagel in the first place. Katie had braces for 2 ½ years and when she still had jaw and TMJ issues, Dr. Nagel recommended jaw surgery and helped us get it scheduled with Kaiser ENT. I forgot the medical name for the type of surgery, but after having her jaw wired shut for 2 weeks, the treatment worked and she was able to get her braces off her senior year of High School which she greatly appreciated. She has a beautiful smile and no more TMJ issues. Dr. Nagel stressed continuing to wear the retainers and she and our other child continue to wear them and it has been about 4 – 5 years since treatment for both. Our other child, Brooks Bannon, had worse teeth as far as being crooked and out of place and was also placed in braces for 2 years. He also has an amazing smile and wears his retainer every night as well. The only thing we need to do is get them back in to have the retainers checed from time to time. We have always been happy with Dr. Nagel, and his son who joined his practice and saw our son at the end of his treatment. Both are very personable, experienced, professional and kind and we are delighted with both of our childrens smiles and outcomes. The staff in Simi and TO were always kind and professional in scheduling appointments and providing a financial payment plan for services. We have recommended many to his practice and will continue to do so. K Bannon

We had our first visit with Dr. Nagel for both of our children and he provided a wonderful experience for them.
We filled out these cute papers regarding our children and before meeting with them, he prepared himself with their information to speak with them about what matters most to them. He earned their trust, long before he looked at their teeth. Both of our children are excited to go back and trust that he will do the right thing by their teeth.

Awesome office! My daughter had gone to a few other orthodontist and was told she would have to have years of braces and even headgear! We went to Dr. Nagel and he said she was a candidate for Invisaline! How awesome! About a year later her teeth are perfect! The Invisaline was so easy she even wore it during her senior pictures. To this day my daughter still sleeps in her Invisaljner retainer so none of the beautiful teeth shifts also helps with night grinding! Love the Invisaline (worth the extra $) and Dr Nagel and his staff were awesome through the entire process! Everyone in the office works like a well oiled machine! Love both doctors — very friendly and gentle (father and son) as well as the wonderful staff. Both my daughters are patients at their office. My younger daughter has been going there since she was 5 due to extreme underbite. She is now almost 14 and in her last phase of braces with a beautiful smile. Highly recommended!

I initially began seeing Dr. Norman Nagel five years ago for TMJ. I was having intense pain and could barely open my jaw without clicking and popping. I could not chew and was having sharp ear pain as well. I had been to my dentist who had made an appliance for me however, it was not helpful. After a thorough consultation, Dr. Nagel made a special TMJ appliance for me and I have been pain free ever since. No popping and definitely no pain whatsoever. Every few months, I return to Dr. Nagel’s office for a follow-​up appointment and adjustment of my splint to ensure it is functioning properly. I feel so lucky to have found Dr. Nagel and his staff. Everyone is extremely helpful and pleasant. I never feel rushed. Dr. Nagel treats everyone as though there are no other patients waiting and yet everything runs smoothly and efficiently. I could not be happier and I am not easy to please! Thank you Dr. Nagel for taking care of me. You are truly the BEST!!! ”

I went to Dr Nagel as a kid, and now I take my son. His chair side manor is amazing as is his knowledge if his profession. I would not recommend anyone other than Nagel Orthodontics!!!

Both of the Nagel doctors (father and son) are courteous and professional. Their example runs throughout their office from reception through the assistants. Every interaction is friendly and prompt. Appointments are kept on time and move at a good pace. Each aspect of my visits was explained to me and felt very individual. Follow up was great. I happened upon their offices initially by chance, but feel very comfortable recommending them.
