Yes! Dr. Levine is now«in-net».(*thankfully) — I know it was not his issue — but with all the confusion about health plans he was pulled from my plan. The important thing is that he’s back — and I am going for a thorough check-up ASAP. I had some kind of check up earlier this year, but I was not comfortable with the cursory testing.

Although the Dr did a great job with my mother’s cataract surgery, the follow-up visits were unprofessional. Just to get the drops in her eye she had to wait 50 minutes after her appointment time and they kept telling her she was the next patient. Then she had to wait for the Dr. Impossible that the Dr took ½ hour with 1 patient. Not very happy. BTW Luis was not there. Perhaps the office doesn’t function as well when he’s not there. It took 2 ½ hours for an office visit.

I recently had a painful eye issue(Iritis) and Dr. Levine came in to see me on a day he had surgeries scheduled. He is kind and thorough, and does not rush you or make you feel like a patient number, and not a person. You get individualized care and he is happy to explain your diagnosis and treatment options. Also, Louis sees you first, and he is amazing and knowledgeable. I can highly recommend Dr. Levine. He is the best.

Dr. Levine is very trusted, patient, and performed well during a very difficult eye surgery. He is willing to go out of way to demonstrate complex procedures and doesn’t give up when things aren’t going well. New patients should still do their homework to gain a better grasp of their options. His staff is a mixed bag, but he steps in quickly if they’re out of line. –All-Star Eye Surgeon with Very Good Character.
