There are people in this world that are ‘good people,’ and Mike is one of these people. We have encountered an unfortunate situation that requires us to repair and move in a very short period of time. We have hit the wall trying to get things done in the middle of a mess accumulated over 28 years. I needed all the screens repaired (actually replaced with frames and screens) on the front of my home. Two of three screens were missing and the third was held on by a prayer. I saw the reviews of Mike on Unilocal*and thought, «please let this man be as good as they say he is.» And you know what? He was better. There aren’t enough stars to shine down on this guy and do justice to this review.
Here’s how quick and painless this man (and his fellow worker) made this job: He responded to my quote email in less than 10 minutes. He than gave me several available times, one being in the afternoon (the others were later in the week). I chose the afternoon. He indicated the half-​hour time slot he’d arrive and then… he beat it. Thereafter he climbed over piles of boxes, papers, moving supplies and all sorts of stuff to take the measurements. He then had to work a much longer time than expected because the house had settled since the installation of the front windows and the windows, which were made to lift out, no longer could be removed. Nothing was easy. But he made it look that way. He measured and worked on making everything perfect, coming in and out several times until they looked perfect.
Do you know what, besides the screens, was perfect? The service, the craftsmanship, the kindness, the professionalism and the price. Even the price was perfect. I wish we could put Mike in our pocket and take him with us. If you call anyone but this guy… you are foolish. You cannot find another company that could possibly beat CrossBreeze, so just stop and email him or pick up the phone and give yourself a well-​deserved break from searching the internet. You have found the one you are looking for… Thanks Mike. I hope good karma comes back to you – you deserve it, big time.

Mike and his partner (I don’t know how to spell his name, sorry) came out the other day and replaced all the screens on the windows in the back of the house and built new screen frames for all the side and front windows. We were off by one on the amount of screen frames to be replaced and he didn’t charge me for the extra frame. Their prices are quite reasonable, they did a great job and quick too. Several neighbors stopped by and asked for their business card. I would highly recommend them!

So happy to use the small business man. Mike was quick to respond, efficient and professional. We decided to completely replace our sliders on our deck after years of buying the crap that the «large home do it yourself» stores have. Every time the glide wheels would break and they would come out of the track. Now we have sturdy screen doors that open easily and fit properly. I highly recommend him for screen replacement. Contacted Mike again last week to replace the torn screen in the bathroom door perpetrated by my dog a few years ago. We texted only, no calls. Mike came on Wednesday with his mobile workshop and gave me two options to replace the screen. It only took 30 minutes to replace the old, torn, dirty screen with a shiny new one. Nice guy, quality work and very reasonable prices. Highly recommend.

About two years ago I called CrossBreeze to replace a balcony screen door. The door slides just as smoothly as the day it was put in, which is not the case with some other screen doors I have had replaced by other firms over the years. The mesh and frame are very high quality. I couldn’t be happier with the his work and his reliability.

Mike was awesome! He showed up within 30 minutes of my phone call and was able to make a new screen door on site! Poor guy ended up working in a torrential downpour, but he finished the job! I definitely will use him again and highly recommend his services! The price was very good too!

The owner, Mike, really knows what he’s doing. Mike’s constantly working, so my calls went to voicemail, but he always called me back within an hour, proactive and helpful. My first call to Mike was on Thursday morning. By 5pm Friday, we had a new, durable and sleek sliding screen door (it’s freaking awesome) and new screens on our windows. I shopped two other competitors and Mike’s prices were more than reasonable. Plus, he really knows his stuff. The screens are strong, fit perfectly with our weird windows, and all the screens are almost invisible. Quality guy, quality product. Thanks Mike!

I had 3 different companies out to get quotes on re-​screening many of my windows and adding a front door screen. Mike was not only the most affordable but the most professional BY FAR!!! He talked to me about different options for different windows since we have cats and I was worried about durability. He also showed me many beautiful front door screens that I could choose from. If you don’t have a front door screen you MUST get one! It has been a life changer. I can get a cross breeze (no pun intended) in our home during warm days/​evenings and don’t have to worry about bugs getting in or the cats getting out. I can hear and see the kids playing on the street which makes me feel safer. Another great part is when people come knocking to sell things you feel much better having that screen there to separate you from a stranger. All of my neighbors noticed our screen door and told us how beautiful it is and how it compliments the house’s exterior so nicely. I give them all Mike’s info at CrossBreeze so they can have as great of an experience as I did!!!

A guest of my roommate walked into the sliding screen door while it was closed and completely broke it (along with a little of his pride). I called around and was lucky to get in touch with Mike.
We made an appointment for him to come and provide an estimate. He showed me sample materials, suggested pet resistant screen material (heavy duty), and was all around very knowledgeable. He provided a fair cost estimate on the spot, and I paid a deposit. Mike returned a few days later (I have a five foot sliding door so he needed to order materials) and installed the new screen door, along with a new window screen that I asked him to replace since I had him doing the work on the door already.
The door and new window screen are great — door slides smoothly and Mike got the screen door to close completely in my slightly off-​square sliding door frame (which he noted while taking careful measurements for the estimate). I highly recommend Mike and will be calling him in the future whenever I need screen repairs at my home.

We had about a dozen screens replaced, some with the heavier duty pet screen, plus two sliding screen doors installed. Mike did a professional, thorough job. I like our new sliders a lot. The pet screens don’t appear as heavy as I thought, and the view out of them is normal. Our cats have tried to refute the «pet-​proof» claim, but so far haven’t (1 month in). The completion of the job was delayed by another one of Mike’s clients, and I felt that was unfair to us. It almost was worthy of a one star deduction, but it didn’t. Overall, I’d recommend.

I am more than impressed. Arrived when promised and was professional. I had him out to replace my screen slider door. In and out in less than 45 minutes.

I called Mike to replace 3 screens in a condo I just purchased. All 3 had bent frames and/​or holes in the screen.
On the phone Mike told me that if the frame is bent they’d have to be replaced; so it was, when he showed up he confirmed that all 3 had to be completely replaced.
Mike showed up on time and it took him less than 1 hour to replace all 3 with custom screens and cost me less than $ 100 for all 3 custom screens.
Would definitely recommend.

He repaired all of our screens at our previous home and it we were happy with them. I kept his number on hand.
We recently moved and the old sliders were torn up and pretty useless…
Called Mike and he replaced put new screens in the frames and built a brand new double slider for our french doors.
He was not happy with the way the doors fit … so without me asking — he spent another ½ to get it right.
