So I’m not sure why the 2 star reviews but I had a pleasant visit. I rarely get ice cream but in 88 degree weather you can’t help but want ice cream. We came in and the place was empty. No one at the counter. It was really clean from first glance. A worker soon came out after we browsed flavors. He wasn’t super friendly but he wasn’t rude either. We ordered a banana split. The only banana split I can compare to is of Ghiradelli in Hollywood. The difference here is that we can pick the toppings, ice cream, etc. Plus half the price. The overall place is nice. The worker disappears but it’s to be expected. The shop was empty when I came in. No complaints from us. We enjoyed it.

I always come here for a birthday ice cream cake. Cookies and cream is my favorite. Only $ 39.99 for a 8 – 12 serving.

Went in on New Year’s Eve with my mom and my fiancé and ordered two ice cream cups and a Oreo shake walked outside to realize that the Oreo shake wasn’t what we asked for a simple mistake no big deal now here’s where the problem starts my fiancé goes back inside and tells garret that he just wanted a regular Oreo shake and tell him that«there’s nothing I can do» Are you serious? He says hold on a minute and goes to the back he finally comes back after a few minutes and ignores us not saying anything my fiancé had to separate himself from the situation because he was gonna go off on this employee and didn’t want to make a scene over a simple Oreo shake! My mom ended up going inside and talking to the other employee working taller guy wearing glasses he made the shake no questions asked and then proceeded to have a nice conversation about his New Year’s Eve plans good job to this gentleman. ps a little message to garret work on your customer service

We used to live in the Los Angeles Ave in Simi Valley and frequented Baskin-Robbins. Whenever we go back to visit, we make a point of going to Baskin-Robbins. The pumpkin pie ice cream is a must! All of his flavors are great though, and the waffle cones are amazing. The gelato is also delicious. I wish Baskin-Robbins would expand outside of Simi Valley :)

Went there tonight and got the worse customer service I have ever received. I am a manager for a retail company and I would not let Garrett work for my company. He needs to learn how to talk to adults and customers since we are the ones that help pay his paycheck. This is totally unacceptable in retail. They just lost a loyal customer that goes there three to four times a week. Now I will not go there.

Terrible service and freezer-burned ice cream plus the owner charged me $ 3 to write happy birthday on a $ 60 cake that everyone else does for free. This place was also a mess and dirty. Stay away.

The ice cream here is just as good as the ice cream at any other BR you’ll find in the country. It’s the lackluster service that makes this place undesirable. The owner of the store simply can’t be bothered to actually service the customers. Each time you walk in here, there’s a chime triggered by the opening of the door. I’ve walked in here twice in the past few weeks and each time, I’ve waited up to 5 minutes just for someone to show up behind the counter(usually, it’s the owner). Why go here when there are other, more customer-friendly options for ice cream?

The ice cream is good here I have no complaints on the actual food but when it comes to customer service it is far from good. They need to be nicer and when they give you a scoop of ice cream and they hand it to you and you take it but it’s not exactly what you want, they will still charge you for it and not change it for you which I don’t think is fair. Step it up 31 flavors oh and by the way they have 32 flavors in their store.

The ice cream here is great I mean it’s ice cream right? What stops me from going back into a business is the customer service. The owner needs to take a class.

We were having dinner nearby the other night and my parents wanted to get the kids ice cream for dessert. They suggested Baskin-Robins and I reminded them about my experience here. Then my son says, «Yeah, remember when we went there to buy a cake and the man yelled at mom?» Nice! The same disgusting man stills owns the place. Shame on him!

Went here last night because I was craving some Daiquiri ice. A friend told me they no longer made it, but they do! Its a very small location, but who cares, they still had it, I was happy! The front counter girl was nice enough. I was the only customer, so that makes it even better, no waiting. its right next door to Chi Chi’s pizza in the Albert sons shopping center. Plenty of parking. I didn’t notice how much of other ice cream flavors they had, but it worked for me.

I wish I could rate this location 0 stars! People save your money and take you and your family to any other ice cream shop in Simi Valley. The customer service was horrible and we will never go back! From the looks of some of the other reviews it appears we are not the only ones who have had this experience.

With the sudden boom of froyo and gelato shops over that past few years, ice cream shops like Baskin-Robbins have almost become an afterthought in my book. Still ice cream will always rule the world and I’ll usually take it over froyo any day(unless my waist line has anything say about it). It has been quite sometime since I stepped into a Baskin-Robbins but the BOGO — 2 scoop sundae deal on Wednesdays was like baiting the hook for this fish. Small store + employees who look like they’d rather be someplace else + decent ice cream = pretty standard BR31 experience. If the BOGO wasn’t available I doubt I would be back to BR31 anytime soon. Not that I don’t like ice cream it’s just that if I’m going to have ice cream I want the ice cream(or ice cream experience) to really knock my socks off(IE. Coolhaus or Milk). My calorie intake is just too precious to me for to use it on an «A-OK» ice cream experience.

Had us some hot fudge sundaes w/some family members the other night at this place. Pretty tasty I will say. I’m trying not to fuss about what another reviewer said about unwashed hands, whateves. Definitely servers were teen/young adult, no complaints, just an observation that they were rather glued to their iphones. You or I probably would be too… Service was suitably sufficient though, with a smile and all that. Can’t really go wrong with ice cream, especially with whipped cream, nuts & cherry on top!

I haven’t been to one of these in awhile. It’s conveniently next door to Chi Chi’s and after dinner, my wife wanted ice cream for dessert. The place was clean, staff was efficient, and the ice cream was good. I tried a seasonal flavor, I assume, since it was called Tax Crunch. It’s Kona Coffee ice cream blended with crackling chocolate and rice crunchy pieces, very yummy. I didn’t count if there were actually 31 flavors but they offer a lot more than just ice cream. They also have soft serve, sundaes, shakes, floats, and ice cream cakes. Unfortunately, the price for a scoop of ice cream ain’t what it used to be. Remember Thrifty ice cream??? Does Rite-Aid still serve ice cream? I also found it fitting since I got home later and on Google’s main page their banner had ice cream in it… apparently today they’re celebrating the 119th anniversary of the first documented ice cream sundae!
