This office staff is awesome super friendly makes you feel at home Dr. Fisher was fantastic couldn’t be more gentle, I have severe dental anxiety and he gave me stuff to calm me down and got me into for my crown same day!!! I came back a few days later for a deep cleaning and the dental hygienist was literally the coolest person I’ve ever met. She cleaned my teeth so good and gave my friend advice!

I just got back from my first visit, and it was INCREDIBLE! The staff here is amazing, the cleaning was better than any other I have had done (Even though it’s been a while and I was in SERIOUS need), and everything was clean and updated. I wasn’t in pain at any time, and they even prescribed me a toothpaste to prevent any future cavities that may pop up. I am so relieved, and SO glad I made the switch from my old dentist. Thanks! Keep up the good work!

Let’s be real, no one likes going to the dentist. But you know you need to get your chompers checked out regularly. The second you walk in, the 2 beautiful women at the front desk greet you with a calming smile that relaxes you. Dr. Fisher is great and painless, I’ve been back many more times than I thought I would, very affordable and a great, friendly staff. I found my dentist office :)

I found Avenue of Smiles right here on Unilocal and I have to say it was a good decision. I called them because I was having pain and they were able to get me in right away. The entire staff was super helpful and very friendly. Everyone acted professional and this is a dental office that genuinely cares about your best interest. They check in with you frequently to make sure you are doing well and don’t need anything.
Dr. Fisher is an extremely patient and knowledgable dentist. He explains everything he is doing and always makes his patients feel comfortable and at ease. I also want to give a huge shout out to Nina who cleaned my teeth. She did everything she could to make the experience easy and safe. This was the best dental experience I have ever had. AWESOME!!!

Just started going to this new dentist in Simi — and I decided to come here because of the Unilocal reviews. The whole experience was painless (literally) and easy. No high-​pressure sales tactics, no BS, just straightforward and pleasant interactions. I was very happy that you check in and the wait time is minimal, and then when they do bring you back, you get seen right away. Nothing is more obnoxious than being led back to a room at the dentist or doctor and then proceeding to wait forever to be seen. Also, you get to watch Netflix or listen to music while you’re being worked on – who ever heard of that? And they can adjust the screen and they put on the subtitles so you can know what’s happening while the tools are going on. Made the time go by so quickly!
Dr. Fisher is a thorough and caring professional. He fixed my screwed up crown that another dentist had shaved down and it didn’t look or feel right until he fixed it. When he took the old crown off and gave me the lidocaine, the injection was virtually painless, too. And today I got my new crown and it feels and looks infinitely better than the last crown.
Also got my teeth cleaned with Nataliya. Best. Cleaning. Ever. I HATE getting my teeth cleaned, simply because of the sound and feel of the scraping and inevitable stabbing in the gums with the instruments. Nataliya was so gentle and I never once got stabbed in the gums. I didn’t even know cleanings could be so easy — I couldn’t believe how easy it was… she’s definitely my new hygienist.
Nancy the DA made my free, take-​home whitening trays (the Unilocal special offer) and she was nice and funny. Nancy also did my a new retainer impression.
So yes… I went to this dentist and got several services and was really happy I chose to come here. Everybody’s low key but professional. I’m pretty sure even skittish dental patients would like this place. Five stars!

I have always hated going the dentist especially having bad horrible experiences from another dentist office… After being recommend to come here from a friend I am so happy with this place especially all the kind employees very pleased with the dentist and his assistant. I was extremely nervous to go back to the dentist after a bad experience I had with a previous dentist (involving needles!). I decided to select a different dental group for my cleaning, and my insurance company referred me to Dr. Yan Fisher in Simi Valley. When I went for my consultation, I found out I would need some work done on my teeth that would involve me having to receive another shot. Dr. Fisher patiently listened as I explained my past traumatic experience at the dentist, and my fear of needles. He outlined my treatment course and assured me they would be very gentle when I had my procedure. And he was so right! When I came back to have my procedure done, I actually needed multiple shots. But they were so patient, understanding, and gentle in administering the shots and explaining step-​by-​step what they were doing, that I was able to completely relax. The pain was minimal! I can honestly say that I no longer feel nervous about having to go back to the dentist, now that I’ve found Dr. Yan Fisher at Avenue of Smiles! Thank you Dr. Fisher!

Admittedly, I am probably the dental patient from hell. Before coming to Avenue of Smiles, it had been many moons since I had seen a dentist. A combination of fear, lack of dental insurance, a horrific experience at a different dental office, and exorbitant charges for work done had kept me away. The last dentist I went to had taken one look at my teeth and said I needed multiple fillings. Prior to seeing that dentist, I had never had a cavity in my life. I went and got the fillings all those years ago and used up all of my benefits, as well as most of my parents.
Years later, sitting with a horrific pain on one side of my mouth and faced with the growing knowledge that I needed to take better care of my teeth (this included regular dental visits), I booked an appointment with Dr. Fisher and his team. What swayed me was the fact that they had Saturday appointments and not a single bad review. Dr. Fisher was able to see me and my painful tooth fairly quickly, despite being booked far in advance. Once in, I was quickly treated like a valued patient despite the fact that due to my fear of the dentist, I tried to ‘dodge’ the appointment a few times.
Dr. Fisher is very welcoming and not condescending at all, unlike other dentists I have encountered. At my X-​rays, he let me know exactly what was going on in my mouth and what he thought I should do first. His staff is very warm, friendly, and the offices are simple, decorated well and quite tasteful.
One of the first things Dr. Fisher noticed was that I had only one cavity (ONE), despite my not having seen a dentist in quite some time. Later, when I saw the hygenist, Nina, she commented that my twelve old fillings looked sloppily done and were extremely rough. I’ve been cutting my tongue on them for years, it makes sense. Nina also outlined and explained a plan for me that made perfect sense and worked well with my benefits allowed. She’s really personable and extremely easy to talk to. Nina is SO SWEET and so funny, she honestly makes getting your teeth cleaned a pleasant experience. She’s awesome, and I’m definitely going to try to book with her again for my next cleaning.
In short, Dr. Fisher and his awesome staff are DEFINITELY worth visiting, and will now become my regular dentists office. I love that they are so willing to work with ‘difficult’ patients and are still attentive, friendly, and caring. A+ for Dr. Fisher and staff at Avenue of Smiles!

I always thought that my previous dentist was good, but after my first appointment at this place, I now know what a good dentist really is. Dr. Fisher was super nice and explained exactly what he was doing during the procedure. The dental hygienist (Sorry I forgot her name) was really professional and caring. Even their interactions with each other and the assistance was really pleasant. It’s weird to say this, but I cant wait for my next check up! :)

Dr Fisher is honest and an expert in dentistry. The front office is friendly and professional. I really dislike having dental work but this place makes it a much more pleasant experience. I came to to see Dr. Fisher on a friends recommendation and I am so happy I did. Loving my new smile!!!

I’ve been going to Avenue of Smiles for a few years now. Everyone is doing an extraordinary job. I love that I’m not just «another patient» and we’ve been able to build a relationship over the years; it makes going to the dentist much more enjoyable. My cleaning appointments became my favorite, after I started seeing the sweetest hygienist Natalia. Not only she has an amazing personality, but she does a great job as well.

Dr. Yan Fisher is the most professional, thorough dentist I have experienced in my lifetime. This is an update to my first review, which I placed in November 2013 (On there you can see the extensive amount of work I had done over a two year period). The work was completed early this year. The functionality of all my teeth are 100%, and the cosmetics of my smile are quite beautiful, and very natural looking. Each week I get at least one new compliment on my smile. Which is not only a great boost to my confidence, but also to my profession, and overall healthfulness. I couldn’t say more about all the staff at Avenue of Smiles. They have always been extremely supportive, courteous and professional. Keep up the great work! :-)

My family has been going to Dr. Fisher for years and with Dr. Bozhena Fisher on staff, now my kids are taken care of as well!
First of all, let me preface this with saying that everyone at this office, from the office staff to hygienist (my favorite– Nataliya) to both Doctors Yan and Bozhena Fisher, are professional, KNOWLEDGEABLE, friendly and compassionate. Doctors at this office their time to explain treatments and always talk about preventative practices to avoid the worst.
The office is super clean and has state of the art technology. It’s obvious that the doctors continue to invest in their practice to service patients better. Dr. Yan is very patient and detail oriented, which is so important for me. I hate when doctors choose quantity over quality. As for my children, I am so happy that this office also has a pediatric dentist who is SO great with kids. Dr. Bozhena is the best! She went out of her way to come up with a solution for my son to save one of his teeth when another dentist was ready to pull it out. I feel that my children are in the careful and capable hands of Dr. Bozhena and staff — even if I have to drive 30 miles each way for their appointments. Oh, and they also open on Saturdays!
If you want dentists who truly care about you and your teeth, I highly recommend Avenue of Smiles!

Avenue of Smiles has been my dental practice of choice for the last 3 years. Even though it is close to 30 miles away from my home, it’s well worth the trip because of the quality of care and attention to detail that both Dr. Fisher and his staff display. Dr. Fisher is very patient and does a great job explaining the work being done. The office staff is also very pleasant and explains how your benefits work.

This place is clean and very comfortable for little ones. Brought my 2.5 yr old son in with Dr. Bozhena Fisher. They have a kids waiting room which is great with toys and away from bugging others. The exam rooms have little TVs where they play kids movies to distract your child.
Dr. Bozhena Fisher is amazing. She is I’m the right field. Made Wyatt feel very comfortable and she was able to examine and clean without any issues!
