We are a local Summit County company creating traditional and artisan ice cream flavors. For the winter months, you can find our ice cream at Whole Foods in Frisco, Locals Market in Breckenridge, Breckenridge Market and Liquor store, Windy City Pizza, and the Frisco Marina.
History
Established in 2011.
This business has been a passion of an old East Coast ice cream lover. Ice cream to New England is what coffee is to Seattle. Anna Higgins went back to Penn State Creamery to dig deep into the science and art of making premium ice cream. A former ecologist, learning the infinite variables of a great tasting ice cream was like learning botanical terms — a task that requires patience and persistence.
The final results are flavors that bring back memories of our childhood and flavors that demonstrate that ice cream cuisine has progressed light years since the 1970’s!
Our philosophy is to stay away from unnatural ingredients that would make our ice cream glow in the dark and look for nature and wholesome ingredients to provide what we need. No pesticides in any fruits is essential and our Colorado dairy is organic. It would make us sad to have anyone eat such terrible unnatural ingredients.
