I’ve always loved this place. However, at least the last 5 times I’ve ordered food to go, the salad has been rotten, slimy, or rancid. I’ve never once had this problem in the actually restaurant, but without fail every time I order something to go, I’m stuck with half of a meal I paid for which I can’t eat. Hopefully they wake up and address this quality issue. It seems strange and disappointing that it’s only to go orders. There are few appetizing non-major chains In Kitsap. Hopefully they step up the quality.

Based on the reviews I decided to just order to go. I’m not interested in shitty, slow service. With that said it worked out perfect. This pizza hits the spot. I had the white sauce pizza and the bbq. I’d recommend them both!

Delicious AND inexpensive… will definitely be coming back. The waitress was awesome, the food was amazing, I can’t say enough good things about this place.

I’ve been frequenting this restaurant for over 20 years. The food is consistently delicious. The service however, has been very disappointing. We have observed that the lack of experienced wait staff leaves us hesitant to continue eating here. Our latest visit left us waiting over 15 minutes to be acknowledged after we were seated. Our server seemed oblivious to the problem. Our appetizer was served with the main meal and our pizza was missing toppings that we had requested. We’ve been there when the owners were present and the level of attentiveness to the customer was excellent. I feel that the inexperience of the staff is ruining an otherwise great restaurant.

I am a big fan of this family friendly pizzeria. Giant pitcher of micro brews/local brews for $ 15, some of the most flavorful cheese-orific pizza, and free«baby plates» for the wee ones. The servers are generally younger, not career waiters, but nice. One large pizza can feed my family of four with plenty of leftovers. They also have a small patio with views of Dyes Inlet. I also recommend their Mediterranean salad with shrimp — DELICIOUS!

A Kitsap County icon! I’ve been coming to Spiro’s since the early 90s. Family owned and operated with a special pizza recipe they learned in Italy long ago. With all of the Applebees/Red Robbin/etc corporate crap-food pushers, it’s nice to see some originality in the area. Salads are great, but the pizza is what it’s all about! Patio in the summertime is especially awesome.

After a horrible experience at trying to park, then the long wait, sent back messed up pizza, received a pizza medium rare, and then had to flag down for refills. So I found out, this Spiro’s is owned by the husband not the ex-wife, her restaurant is is the is the one one on Kitsap Way. I only found found out because I asked for Cannoli and and the waitress didn’t know what they what they were.

They say the sign of a good restaurant is that it is always busy… and it is true. This place s always hopping because the pizzas are great, the salads are wonderful, service is quick and friendly and it is nearby! Stop and give them a try, sit and enjoy the view-but make room for me!

Pros: Delicious salad, I love the house salad with Roquefort dressing. I could eat it all the time. Lettuce, olives, mozzerella cheese, yum! They also make an amazing pizza. Beautiful view of the Inlet, and balcony dining avaliable on a nice summer day. They offer a kids plate of olives, cheese, pineapple and crackers(a little odd but a nice thought). Cons: Their servers often tend to seem very aloof. The interior of the resturant is starting to get dated, it doesn’t have the same classy vibe I seem to remember it having a decade or so ago. The pasta. I don’t know how to describe it, but I’ve never enjoyed their pasta dishes. Not much parking. Go for pizza and salad. The end.

This place is just ok. The atmosphere here is like a café feel. No candles, no table cloths etc. the food is priced reasonable and food was ok.

This is one of the first places I go when visiting family in Bremerton. The house salad with Rutherford dressing is the best! I crave this salad all the time and love all the meat they put on. Lots of cheese, olives and peppers are added too. As for pizza, we always gets the Spiros Special. I have not found a pizza quite like this one. Being a visitor from AZ I crave the way they make this pizza. Love this place and the service!

Great food always our favorite. Salads are remarkable as are the sauces. Pizza is always the best. Our sons must have a special sub for the next day. Overall great place highly recommended.

This place is slipping. I used to love going here, especially for the house salad that was piled high with mozzarella, olives, and salami. But the salad was disappointing last night – it used to be more than I could eat, but now much smaller, and had hardly any mozzarella. The hostess seated us a table with crumbs and food covering the floor and chairs. She made no offer to clean it up, neither did the waitress. Finally, I asked to get it cleaned up. I mentioned to the waitress that I was disappointed in the salad. She said sorry, but didn’t offer to fix anything. The cashier asked how the food was and I said I was disappointed. She said sorry, and acted like she didn’t want to know more. It’s like this place is run by a bunch of kids and young adults with no owner or senior management to train them how to run a restaurant. Sorry to see this. I used to love this place. There is a new Spiro’s opening on Kitsap way. I hope it’s better.

When we ask friends for recommendations of where to eat when we visited Silverdale this week Spiros was the first place I was told about. So of course it’s the first place we stopped when we got into town. And it was the best decision we made. The portions are enormous, the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu, and the food is fresh and full of flavor. We ordered the tortellini Mediterranean, and the hot chicken pesto sub. The sub came with a side salad which I was able to switch to a side Caesar and my husband got a side salad with his tortellini for only $ 2 more. Needless to say we left with two boxes of food and will be snacking on that through the weekend! I would highly recommend you check this place out if you come to the area. We might go back later for some peanut butter pie which is recommended by the employees.

Go elsewhere. Dirty. Cold pasta … canned or store bought sauces. The Taco Time across the way has better food. While we here, others returned their food. The salads were drenched in oily«Caesar» salad dressing. Way too many croutons. The server tried. But started by forgetting my water … and it went downhill from there. Took ten minutes for a coffee refill, I could see if they had to make a new pot, but we could see the pot of coffee where we could see it. My wine was bad, like the bottle had been open all week. Seriously, go elsewhere.

It’s getting worse. Service used to at least make up for what the food lacked, now both are unexceptional. I wish it had better cooks and management, this place could rock if the the food was not so awful.

We’re rarely disappointed when enjoying a pizza & salad here at Spiro’s. The service is good, and for the most part… it’s atmosphere is quiet enough to where you can easily carry on a conversation. It was nice tonight to see Spiro’s doing some reno work on the interior of their restaurant. New paint, new pics, and soon to have new(wood) flooring. Even the waiters seem to have a neater appearance.

Sometimes this gem can be rather busy and if you are impatient it can seem long to get service… suck it up chilli dog… you are in for a great experience. Tonight’s meal was light and quick as we were going to the show after dinner. The blond girl had a nice salad with shreaded mozzarella on top… I went for the Chop-Chop salad… very tasty and filling. Our server was prompt, attentive and represented the restaurant favorably. Our drinks and meals came out quickly. Very happy!!! Why not 5-stars…run the vacuum more often. Not anyone I know appreciates food on the floor and under their tables…
