Silverdale Eye Physicians

This review has nothing to do with the Dr nor his professional services. The front desk staff on the other hand need to find a different career path because customer service which should be priority and BASIC is very lacking. We were not greeted, looked at or noticed when we came in. The lady seemed very far away and non engaging to the DR’S (not hers) customers/​patients and unfortunately when we were 15 minutes late we were (non exaggerating) thrown a card with a new appointment on it. I will not go into specifics but just from those 2 minutes of being in that office i felt very embarrassed and non existant. As I said before, the DR is great, but the front line of a successful medical business is the women behind the desk who coordinates the Dr’s patients and customers and when services are handled the way they were that day business is unfortunately lost.

Poorly trained staff. I called to set up an appointment with an Ophthalmologist but they sent me to their optometrist. I specifically asked for the Ophthalmologist. She said she could perform the same services as the Dr. but they still wanted to charge me the Ophthalmologist price but without the benefit of seeing him.

They have two offices, one in Bainbridge Island and one in Silverdale. This review is for the Silverdale office. The ease of making an appointment, to seeing the doctor, to checking out was great. I saw Dr. Rice, and she is so friendly and informative. The office staff is really friendly, as well. They do optometry for all ages, so this make a nice one stop shop for my oldest daughter and I. We are so happy to have found them!!!
