Description

Specialties

Giracci Vineyards and Farms is a 10-acre full-service Winery and Equestrian boarding and traning center in Eastern Orange County. Located just down the road from beautiful Lake Irvine, Giracci offers award-winning wines for Wine Tasting, breath-taking scenery and great company!

History

Established in 2004.

Giracci Vineyards was once the site of the historic Jackson Ranch in the 1920’s. Throughout the years, it traded owners a few times, and each time became a little bit more run-down. But when Giracci owners Chad and Linda Kearns saw it, even with all the problems it came with, they saw the potential for blending the then and the now into a perfect balance. After 5 years of refurbishing and pampering the property, they have turned it into one of the most stunningly beautiful places in Orange County, while maintaining the equestrian half of the business as an homage to the property’s roots as a horse ranch. Now, Chad and Linda have successfully combined their greatest loves: animals, the outdoors, family and, of course, wine! With 5 current fabulous vintages and 5 more to come in summer 2011, Giracci is the perfect place to spend a lazy afternoon enjoying a glass of wine and a hidden area of Orange County.

Chad Kearns– Owner & Winemaker

As president of Giracci Vineyards and Farms, Chad oversees all the operations, wine development and the wine-making. Born and raised in Central California, Chad earned a Doctorate in Pharmacy at the University of Pacific in Stockton, CA, and spent his free time touring the wine country. Chad then moved to Orange County, where he met his wife Linda and started a family.

Throughout the years, Chad maintained his love of wine and the outdoors, spending his free time doing gardening, skiing, and making wine as a hobby with his wife and close friends. Finally, after 20 years in Orange, Chad achieved his dream of owning a winery.
