The Little Gym of Silver Spring

My kid loves this place. Favorite place to be all week. The teachers are really supportive and fun. The activities are exciting and have really been helpful to develop coordination and confidence. Worth every penny.

Just had my daughters 3^rd birthday party at The Little Gym of Spring over the weekend… and I could not be happier!!! This place is SO nice, clean, in a great part of town and the perfect place for a birthday party. Everything was right on schedule, and I didn’t have to stress about anything. All I had to do was show up with a cake and my child and the party was perfect. The only thing that threw me off at the end was asking if I wanted to pay gratuity… with the amount of money I paid for the place I was really caught off guard being asked to pay more. Overall, this place is amazing and I will definitely be back!

Teachers are great at the Little Gym of Silver Spring. Not only do they start on time and they are passionate about their work but they really allow the children to be themselves. The kids are a blast and they learn so much about physical, social and vocal interaction. Plus this gym is secure and clean. Me and my family Love this place and more importantly our son loves it here too!

We just got home from the best kid birthday I have ever experienced! We didn’t feel like dealing with the logistics of having the party at our house so we tried the Little Gym in Silver Spring. It was so worth it! Ms. Taz and her team took care of everything! They decorated, greeted everyone as they entered, gave clear directions to the kids, and made sure that the adults were well taken care of throughout the party. We couldn’t have asked for a better team! Thank you!!!

The teachers are incredibly nice, the facility is clean, and their lessons are always so much fun for the kids. Incredibly happy to have found this place!

I find Little Gym to be a safe, colorful, generally fun place for kiddos. I also like the kind instructors I have met, since they clearly like kids. BUT, I don’t believe the franchise knows how to teach dance. They provide exercises that are not developmentally appropriate for how children learn movement. As I said, though, their heart and facilities are in the right place.

I have been confused how to update my review of Little Gym. I’m a consumer not an owner or employee. The «wall» between the gym and the waiting area is safety glass. I can’t imagine why someone would come 25 minutes early and not be able to have a chance to look around the gym since there is no barrier – just safety glass. With an active 14 month old it seems that would be what one would do. The consumer is from Woodbridge and the Little Gym is Silver Spring so perhaps she was relocating? Anyway, I have always had a good experience at the Little Gym and found the staff very caring. Sorry she had problems but I’ve only had good experiences.

My baby sustained a minor injury at this gym. I have a very active 14 month old and decided to try the Little Gym. I called for a drop in class and was advised to arrive early for a tour. I arrived 25 minutes early but was advised that I did not need a tour that there were a lot of new parents and things would be covered once the class started.
The class was rather large, I would say approximately 20. I did not have a chance to look around and before I knew anything my baby slipped on a mat and hit his mouth on a metal bar in the room. It started bleeding profusely, I ran to the lobby with him and there were limited first aid supplies. They put a piece of ice in a rubber glove and tried to get him to keep it in his mouth, which did not work. They put ice on a paper towel which of course did not work. They asked if I had a sippy cup that they could put ice water in but that would not work.
So, if I had the opportunity to look around first, I could have clearly identified potential dangers and they should have had better first aid training and equipment and it would have been nice if I had gotten a call later to see how my baby was doing.
I will not go back.
