Thai Silver Spring quickly established a reputation as the premier restaurant for Royal Thai Cuisine. When visiting heads of state — for instance Prime Minister of Canada Pierre Trudeau and the King of Sweden Carl XVI Gustaf — came to Bangkok, a dinner at Bussaracum was sometimes one of the scheduled highlights of the visit. From the very beginning Bussaracum, serving Royal Thai Cuisine, had in mind Thailand’s upmarket diners keen to enjoy well presented and well prepared Royal Thai Cuisine.
Our menu includes an array of special foods including Vegetarian dishes, noodles and rice, Thai Curry dishes, Honey Roasted Duck, Sesame Beef, Lamb in Two Seasons, Spicy Tilapia in Mango Sauce, Spicy Cat Fish and more. History
Established in 1980.
In the 1980s, it was not possible to find in Thailand a genuine fine-dining Thai restaurant that remained true to local recipes and preparations. Some of the larger international hotels served what they termed local cuisine,
but it was too often significantly altered for palates unaccustomed to the varied and sometimes strong flavours that define Thai food. A group of business partners, all serious gourmets, took note of this circumstance and decided to so something about it.
Thai Silver Spring Thai restaurant was the result.
