I have been teaching keyboard and vocal skills, and music theory for the past 5 years at the college and private levels. Having recently moved to the Silver Spring, MD area, piano and voice lessons have recently begun at this new location. Students will be accepted as long as there is room in the studio and then will be put on a waiting list and accepted when openings become available.

Marc D.
Business Owner
Marc holds degrees from Bowdoin College in Mathematics, Music, and Teaching. He received a Masters of Music in Choral Conductingfrom the University of Oklahoma and is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Music History and Theory specializing in music of the Renaissance.

Marc has worked extensively in chamber music administration for the Bowdoin International Music Festival since 2005. As part of his numerous musical associations, he has assisted and cantored for High Anglo-Catholic masses, and has directed church choirs and served as organist for parishes in Maryland, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Maine, and Oklahoma. He is also an engaged vocal singer with various ensembles such as Schola Cantorum of Boston, in addition to work as a soloist.

Marc has experience teaching from the elementary to collegiate levels and has recently lectured in music history, music theory, aural skills acquisition, piano and voice lessons, and choral repertoire. He has recently moved to Silver Spring, MD.
