Meet the Business Owner
Steven G.
Business Owner
«He is one wonderful lawyer who takes the lawyer jokes out of lawyering.» He’s an exceptional attorney and an exceptional person. He selflessly and routinely mentors new or inexperienced family law attorneys. He regularly accepts pro bono family and elder law cases, often on short notice with looming court dates. He visits the homeless shelters to counsel or simply commiserate with the residents. He often is available for consultations by telephone with pro-se litigants. This attorney is a thoroughly wonderful person and family man who enjoys life and has a great sense of humor.
Who is this unusual man, you ask? He is Steven T. Greenblat, solo practitioner from Silver Spring, Maryland, who became inspired to perform pro bono work in the early 1990s. His then-girlfriend, now wife, was volunteering to help the homeless and inspired him to give his time and services to those in need. Written by Constance L. Belfiore, Former President, Bar Association of the District of Columbia.
