After years of searching, we finally found Irma. She has done wonders with my hair, and that of my two kids — who both change styles every time we go. One went from long, to medium, to short over the years and we have all been thrilled every time. She’s reasonably priced and always accomodating. And she’s very, very nice. My whole family — and now my parents — all go to her now, and we are all happy with her service.

I’m a bit afraid to expose this gem to public view… Irma may so booked up that will have me on a wait list! But she deserves the praise.
I’ve lived in the DC area for 7 years now. Probably tried a new hair salon every three to six months, including bottom to top prices ones in every possible location, with 5-​star reviews (that I still don’t understand for most of them) only to be disappointed at the end of my color or hair cut appointment… Sometimes disappointed to tears.
One day I was at a friend’s party and met a woman with the most gorgeous hair color, a really cute cut and still very healthy hair. I went through the shameless risk of asking where she had gotten this done and she gave me Irma’s phone number.
I’m typing this review during the second color/​highlight visit because I’m sure I found «the one» hair colorist and I love my hair now. Irma is vey talented and she does take the time to understand exactly what I want. Also her –and her assistant’s– hospitality and warmth is unparalleled.

Irma is the only stylist who really «gets» my hair. She knows how to create a cut that maximizes my hair’s assets and minimize its problems. Somehow she always manages to make my hair look fuller and healthier with just the right cut. I have followed Irma for many years through different locations. She’s the best!
