Roof Solution

We used Roof Solution after meeting with several roofing contractors. Their team was not only friendly and responsive, but their warranty couldn’t be beat. We were very happy with their installation team. They were very polite and made sure to clean up all the debris and made sure to make the installation as painless as possible. We’ll be using them for our gutters in the future and I’ll update that experience but I make sure to refer people to them who are looking for roofs since our experience was so great. Jerome is awesome.

These guys were super professional, gave us a fair quote (we compared it with another quote) with a nice guarantee on their work. I wish we could have gotten them in a few storms earlier– our roof was leaking BUCKETS into the house before we called them. Now it’s totally surely watertight. We really liked working with them.

They were wonderful. I’d searched a bunch of local companies, and based on good reviews and BBB and a good price in the lower end of the range, decided on roof solutions. I had water coming over the gutter in the middle, so I knew it was probably more than a straight cleaning.
They came three times in all. They cleaned it each time, about a month apart. They had re-​sloped the gutter which is what I thought it needed, but also put in a debris guard that tended to back it up. As I expressed concerns they came back each time, without charge (and I didn’t need to be home). The 2^nd time to check the work. The 3^rd time came just to take out the debris guard because I was sure their guy wasn’t right in this case about using it (which was based on his experiences elsewhere). Turned out 3^rd time was the charm, and the gutters worked for a year.
They did think I probably need a wider gutter and to do that job, but didn’t try to upsell me or insist that that is all that would work.
I was happy that they responded to my concerns, took pictures of what they were seeing, respected me and my ability to think things through (based on my own observations of my gutter’s history), communicated effectively… and didn’t lose patience or get dismissive that it wasn’t just an easy job.
…a year later and now it needs cleaning out again, as one would expect, and I’ll be calling them.

When I called I was asked if it was am emergency, as it was not a appointment was made. Roof Solutions called the day before my appointment and again when they were on the way.
Aaron arrived when promised, and was professional, courteous, honest and his experience was evident.
He found the cause of the leak, flashed and cement patched it, and was gone within an hour.

I chose Roof Solutions to install a new roof over a front porch area. It’s one of those bay windows that juts out of the main house in a victorian, and has a balcony on top. Its roof was leaking– every time it would rain, i would have to place a bucket or two in that part of the living room! Anyway, JP came to see it and suggested replacing it. Gave me an estimate, which seemed quite reasonable. Further, the amount of work required came out pretty close to what he said it would — it was a 2 to 3 day job. The new roof looks beautiful and has not leaked once, and its been almost 10 months.
The only reason i took a star off was because there was a gas-​off problem with one of the materials used in the new roof. The balcony was adjoined to a bedroom, and for almost 3 months after the repair, the adjoining bedroom had a strong chemical smell. Not sure what it was, but JP came by to see it when i complained to make sure it was not a sealing issue or some problem with how the roof was installed. Anyway, it was not — the smell finally went away, and the bedroom has since gone back to normal. But that was an unexpected and inconvenient lingering side effect of the project, since the bedroom was not really usable for a while. I guess with most roof work, since its done at the top of the house, the inhabitants usually are not exposed to any gas-​off issues, but this project was a little bit different. But my overall experience with Roof Solutions was still very positive, and i would use them again — they are reasonably priced, customer-​oriented, and the quality of work is very good.

Russell and his crew ware extremely professional, punctual and nice to deal with. They were easy to communicate with both by email and by phone. Their office manager Sandy was also a joy to work with.
They provided a quote by the end of the same day they had come to take the measurements (other companies took three weeks!), and came in cheaper than all the other companies. They found the exact product that worked for our situation while other companies said what we wanted did not exist or could not be done.
They came when they were supposed to, worked swiftly and neatly, and left with a smile. Throughout the whole process both Russell and his employee Aaron made sure that what we got was exactly what we wanted, even if that meant more work for them. We had many requirements about positioning, orientation, operability, etc. They met every single one of them without ever saying it could not be done. The result is absolutely gorgeous skylights, beautifully installed, which work to suit our lifestyle!
I would give Roof Solution our business again any time, and will be recommending them to all our friends and neighbors.

We live in a row-​house on Capitol Hill and had problems with leaks for years. We had an independent contractor come out several times to do some work, and he could never quite solve the problem. I called Roof Solutions after reading the reviews here, and they definitely live up to the hype. It took two visits, but they isolated the problems and fixed them. The cost was reasonable, and they were very communicative (emails, calls, before/​after pics, etc). We didn’t have to even be home after the initial visit. Ask for Darron or Russell. I can definitely recommend their work!

I wish Artem and Roof Solutions did more then just roofs. I’ve never worked with anyone like this before. During last years earthquake my chimney collapsed on my roof and destroyed half the roof. After getting the run around with other contractors who were either over the top expensive or under qualified and sketchy, I found Artem with Roof Solutions. I had just bought the house so I didn’t have a lot of flexibility with the cost. Artem showed up fast and explained what was going on, answered my questions, and gave me two options on the repair. They got it fixed before a coming hurricane and even came back to do some touch ups after that.
About a year later we had a pretty serious leak (on the side of the old roof that Roof Solutions did NOT work on) during a strong storm. I called Artem in a panic as I was putting down pots and buckets everywhere. He showed up crazy fast, soaking wet (even took his shoes off when he came in) and gave me a temporary fix for the storm. They were back the next day to patch the roof.
I feel lucky to have found these guys. They are the best. I will call them for years to come. Now if only they could expand to help me with the rest of the house…

Honest and dependable. They stand behind their work too, 100%. Artem took the time to explain everything to me. I was told by 3 roofers I needed a new roof and they wanted to charge me way too much (the roof is only 6 years old). Artem was honest and said the repairs would not involve replacing the roof. I will use them again and tell all my friends and family!

During the recent storms and heavy winds, my house had suffered some roof damage allowing rain to enter the house. The strong winds also blew the exhaust cap off the roof. I called several companies to come out and inspect and repair, Roof Solutions was the only company willing to answer my call for help. During the rain, one of their guys came over and put a temporary cap on the exhaust vent and did a quick inspection of the roof. This type of service is greatly appreciated and put my mind at ease until the actual repair.
I will recommend Roof Solutions for all of your roofing jobs. They are quick to respond and the professionalism of Artem is great. Take my word for it, you won’t regret it.

One of our recent storms took down some gutter and removed a few shingles from our home. Roof Solution came right out, gave me a quick estimate and did the job (well) a couple of days later. Because of weather, they were a day late doing the work — but they called right away to reschedule. And they even cleaned up some of the debris that had landed up there.
