I was quoted a price for two lab tests by their central office. Then when I arrived the price was about $ 40. more. They do not answer the phone. And yes there was one person there today. Update… I went to Lab Corp and did the tests for about half the price

As mentioned in other reviews, this location never has more than one person working here. As of now, I’ve been here 45 minutes. In that time, they have seen ONE patient, and then took a person back who arrived thirty minutes after me. On top of the staffing issues, the phlebotomist are poorly trained and routinely puncture my veins, leaving me with massive hematomas.

Stay away!!! This place is ALWAYS understaffed. There’s literally only ONE phlebotomist doing all the work — check ins and drawing blood. The waiting room is crowded with families and chatting is loud in different languages. Other patients corroborate that there’s always only one person on duty here. Don’t come here without an appointment under any circumstances. I asked if management was aware if the staffing and the phlebotomist said yes and it’s typical practice to be understaffed. Horrible place!

I was there on June 18 at 9:25 a.m. Facility was staffed by only one employee, who not only had to do all of the blood draws/testing, but also had to handle all of the paperwork and questions from persons waiting in the packed lobby, as well as visitors entering the facility. Employee stated that her supervisor refuses to provide additional staff. I went to the restroom to give a urine sample, and wanted to wash my hands, but there was no soap in the dispenser, and an empty bottle of hand sanitizer on the sink. I left the restroom and asked the employee for some soap. She responded that the dispenser was not working and she hadn’t any soap/sanitizer to offer me, but I could use the sink in the blood-draw area. I said, «But I still will have to touch the restroom door when I go back there to give the urine sample – so my hands still won’t be clean!» No response. I had to use the hand sanitizer I had in my purse. In addition, a bunch of urine samples were left on a cart in the restroom. These samples could easily have been tampered with or compromised. The employee obviously was not removing them and putting them in a safe place. I have complained to Quest Diagnostics, to my health insurance provider, and to Paul Celli of the Laboratories Unit of the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, which is responsible for regulating these labs.
