History
Established in 1995.
I started this business based on my relationship with my dog, Pork Chop. It took time, consistency, repetition, patience and most of all dedication to grow our relationship.
Learning is universal and my Master’s thesis examined the effects of housing conditions on learning and behavior. The results showed, horses housed outdoors with the opportunities to socialize with other horses, adapted easier and quicker to the lessons and displayed less undesirable behaviors that hindered the overall training process. Their minds were more relaxed and receptive to learning overall. The same can be said for dogs and people. Ever have cabin fever and had to focus on any one thing? Not an easy task.
I realize in today’s society, time is a valuable and limited commodity. I want to help teach and entertain your companion while you’re busy at work or away. So that when you come home, you can practice or relax and enjoy your time together, whichever way you choose.

Business Owner
When I adopted Pork Chop (a Border Collie mix) at three months old, I made a promise to give him everything he needed to live a good life. In a dog’s world, that translates to plenty of training, exercise, and socialization. These three fundamentals – coupled with patience, consistency, and love – gave me 10 years of happiness with my dog.
That’s why Pork Chop’s Way is more than an ordinary dog training service. It is a legacy of love. With an emphasis on learning, exercise and socialization I am committed to providing your dog with all the fundamentals to live the good life. Because, really, it’s all about the dog.
