Piney Branch Sunoco

This was my first time using this station to get gas. It seemed clean enough.
The outside payment machine was easy o navigate and efficient.
Their gas prices are usually reasonable or lower than other gas station at most times.

Yes, five stars. I have been taking my cars to this station for years and have tremendous faith in them. It’s nice to have piece of mind when it comes to car care — if you’re not handy yourself — and you will with PB Sunoco. A guy named Benny ran it a few years back when it was PB Texaco and while it has since changed hands — the service remains still top notch. Although I regret i am not on a first name basis w/​the head mechanic — c’est la vie. This may be out of the way for some folks, but if you need a dependable and trustworthy repair shop, this is the place to go. They are about 1 – 2 miles north of the Takoma metro on the red line. And in the past, I have bummed rides to the metro from one of their folks. They’re usually pretty good about that. And there are metro buses that head north on Piney Branch that go right by the station.
