Our shirt quality is tops in the DC Metro area, featuring best in class detergents, individual pressing and hand finishing, complimentary buttons and full size hangers. History

Established in 1968.

Glenmont Cleaners has been a pillar of the Glenmont community for 50 years. However, it was failing and in danger of closing when in 2012 LookSharp assumed control on the belief that the Glenmont Neighborhood would support a Quality First cleaner.

In order to communicate this emphasis on Quality First, it has been rebranded Glenmont LookSharp.

Glenmont LookSharp has been incrementally improving its operations, quality, and services.

Meet the Manager

TJ I.

Manager

TJ assumed leadership of Glenmont Cleaners in 2012 and re-​branded it LookSharp Cleaners in order to turn it around into a pillar of the local Glenmont community. Glenmont Cleaners has been serving the community for 50 years, but had been losing money and was in danger of closing. It was with this interest that TJ took it over in a bid to revitalize it and prepare it for the next 50 years. TJ is actively involved in every part of the operations and is on site every business day. The business motto is «We take care,» and TJ repeats that to his staff almost 100 times a day. At LookSharp, every customer and every item must be handled with care.

I was looking for a dry cleaning business with high reviews and naturally came to Unilocal.LookSharp Glenmont Cleaners deserves each of the five stars I am giving them.
Customer service was excellent, my clothes were perfectly dry-​cleaned and the 50% off discount for first-​time customers was an awesome bonus. The manager was there to assist me and he was very intentional about telling me about the 50% discount process. I found him to be very friendly, you can definitely tell he cares about running a good business and satisfying the customer.
After dropping the clothes off that day I received a picture text message from LookSharp. They wanted to make me aware of a small tear they found on one of my suits. I found this small act to be a very good business practice and goes to show that they are operating at a level that is different than most other dry cleaners.
When I picked up my clothes they were perfectly dry-​cleaned. The 50% discount was applied with no problem at all. The manager remembered me, which I was pleasantly surprised about. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone in the area, LookSharp will work hard to keep your business.

Well, I learned the hard way. I moved here about a year ago. After wrongly believing that «all dry cleaners are the same», I tried all the bargain priced places. One lost two of my shirts, and another destroyed a favorite jacket. Looksharp’s staff are friendly, remember my name when I walk in, and always have my order ready on time. Best of all, the work is beautiful. I guess you get what you pay for, and what I get are clothes that make me feel and look great. And they don’t lose or destroy my property!

I’ve traveled this country pretty extensively for the past 25 years and have yet to encounter a clothes Dry Cleaning operation quit like ‘LookingSharp Cleaners of Glenmont. The Proprietor and his son are friendly and genuine. And listen with an attentive ear when you are conveying intrusions regarding what you want done. But what I found truly amazing and satisfying is when I come to retrieve my finished clothes! They truly go beyond most other cleaners in customer satisfaction. The kind of care and finishing my clothes received from them, from the bolstered hangers to the pocket squares that were placed in my Jacket pockets, I’ve only received from institutions like the Waldorf or Plaza Hotels. These guys go out of their way to make you a welcome, Happy Customer and to keep bringing them your Business. They should add to the Business name, «Top Shelf– LookingSharp»

The owners are nice, but I prefer Rose Cleaners. This place is a bit more expensive than Rose Cleaners and to my knowledge, won’t sew on missing or loose buttons,

I purchased a suit for a wedding a week in advance with the assumption I can have it tailored in time. However, I realized I mixed the dates on my calendar and all of a sudden, I only had two days until the wedding. I called 6 different shops to grant me a miracle by tailoring my suit in two days but of course, they all said no, until I called look sharp (recommended by a friend). They knew my URGENCY and responded to my need flawlessly!!! Best remarkable experience I have encountered in 2015! I look forward to our future economical transactions.

There are several cleaners in my neighborhood, and I could choose any of them. You can even drive 2 minutes down Georgia Avenue from LookSharp and take your items to the $ 1.99 cleaners and take your chances on the quality of the work… or you can go where the owner actually greets you by your name; remembers your preferences for silks, linens, dress shirts, suits — men’s or women’s! TJ will even pick up and drop off your cleaning if you are in a pinch and can’t make it to the shop. I have met his son, who helps out around the cleaners and helps deliver our items — you will be hard pressed to find a better business in your own neighborhood. TJ revives my belief that customer service and caring for customers DOES still matter to business owners. He and his business are a treasure to the Glenmont community.

I recently moved to the Glenmont area and was looking for a new dry cleaner/​tailor. I drove around and saw several close by, but LookSharp was convenient, little did I know they were also amazing! TJ is great. Super friendly, remembers you, willing to take special requests etc. The quality of the cleanings are good and the value is also great. Everyone who works for him is equally friendly and helpful. This will be my go-​to cleaners here on out. Thanks guys!

The very best in customer service! Living in the D.C. area I have found that it is becoming more and more difficult to find businesses that are friendly & service oriented. After using other dry cleaners in the area (3) and feeling that I was tired of supporting local businesses that didn’t seem to value me as a customer I found a place that does great work and is always friendly. I am relieved and grateful that LookSharp Cleaners exists. They should be a model for other businesses to learn from.
