JK House of Grace, Inc. is a privately owned and operated assisted living residence. We provide personal care and support services to seniors who need help with daily living as a result of physical or cognitive disabilities.
Our residents receive assisted living while staying in a true home environment, not a large institution. We have three group homes. all homes are one level, located in the Aquarius community of Silver Spring, MD. Each home features 4 private rooms, 2 semi-private rooms, dining room, living room, deck, and reading area. Our small size allows us to cater our activities and menus to the preference of our residents. In addition, we devote personal attention to the mental, physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents. We strive to provide an environment that preserves the warmth, the caring, the comforts, and the routines of home.
Our staff is trained to recognize and to respect the «whole» person. We provide 24-hour supervision; a registered nurse on call 24 hours a day; monitoring of all prescription and non-prescription medications; daily personal assistance with bathing and grooming; home cooked meals approved by a registered dietitian; social and recreational activities and outings; and transportation to beauty and medical appointments as arranged.

Meet the Business Owner
Maria K.
Business Owner
Maria has over twenty-five years of experience as a registered nurse and an accomplished health care professional. She is highly trained and experienced in elder care, Alzheimer’s, hospice care, and intravenous procedures. She is also certified as a delegating Nurse case manager.
In addition to her degree in nursing, Maria has specialized training in health care education from Nottingham University in England and certificates from Johns Hopkins University for health education and primary health care.
Maria has been recognized by supervisors, colleagues and students for providing high quality education and nursing care. She has demonstrated the ability to manage, plan, and organize.
Since 1995, Maria has worked in the home healthcare field specializing in the care of the elderly. She founded and established JK House of Grace, Inc in 2001. where all aspects of the residents’ lives — body, mind, and spirit — are cared for and cared about.
