After the derecho this summer we decided we were not going through a 4 day+ power outage again. After learning about a whole-​house generator, Generac, at Home Depot we called Davis and Davis to see if they installed them. They don’t but recommended JBI Servies. JBI said if we had gone through a major retailor like Home Depot they would have just referred our request to them and added on a percentage fee. Anyway, Ian was upfront and honest, no nonsense. We were lucky that we were early on in our request for installation as they were getting swamped with requests, so no idea what the lag time is at this point. So with «Sandy» headed this way we are most happy to have our generator installed. This generator hooks into the gas line and doesn’t require going to the gas station for refills.
