Great Scott Party Rental

Zero stars. I give this place 0 stars. They seemed to be really helpful until party day. It was raining but the party had to go on. I ordered a moon bounce, hot dog machine, popcorn, snow cone, and cotton candy machines. As well as a bunch of tables and chairs. At first Richard (the owner) explained to me that he was going to have to charge me an additional charge if the moon bounce got wet. Really? But we also had ordered a trackless train, dunk tank and other games from other companies and there were no rain dates allowed so I agreed. Then he said that it was a fire hazard and he absolutely would not leave it behind. He said that he hadn’t charged my card yet so he would deduct the $ 250 from the total cost. When a few days later I tried to use my debit card to make a purchase, imagine my surprise when I was declined. Now this account is only used to pay certain things and I monitored it the day before and I knew a had a couple hundred bucks in there. After being embarrassed in front of a room full of people I pulled up the account on my phone and saw the IBounce had charged me for the original full amount plus another charge for last minute tents I rented because of rain. I called him immediately and he informed me that because I didn’t receive the moon bounce he had to charge me delivery fees and set up fees and this fee and that fee that all equaled the same original amount. When I argued that it was his fault that we didn’t get the moon bounce he said it wasn’t his problem because it was a danger. I should mention here that another company (Backyard Inflatables) came to our rescue and delivered a moon bounce the same day without a problem. Anywho, he also delivered late so we didn’t get set up on time and he forgot the cord to one of the machines so that was REALLY late. He never mentioned the extra charges EVER and never gave me a contract. This guy is a rip off. He didn’t ruin my only child’s first birthday party but he did take some of the joy from me. Do not go to this guys if there is a chance of rain on your event day because whether he drops off the equipment or not, he will find a way to charge you for it… and PS there is always a chance of rain.
PSS… We didn’t have a choice because of our situation but the rental price for each 10×10 tent = the same amount I paid for mine at Dicks Sporting goods.

We used iBounce Rentals for a party at our home earlier this summer when we needed some chairs and tables and a sno-​cone machine. One of our young guests had requested a specific flavoring syrup for the cones and, while it was not one of the usual flavors, they willingly special-​ordered it and didn’t even charge us for the additional syrup. I couldn’t have asked for better service and look forward to using them for all our future parties.
