I have used Golden Floors several times over the last three years and I can’t name anybody else whom I would trust to come in to my home and handle my flooring needs. They do great work and are reasonably priced.

Extremely unprofessional. Oscar came out and gave me an estimate and we agreed on a price and a week. When I called the week before to confirm when the work would begin, Oscar said I was not in «his book» and he couldn’t do the floors that week.
Do not use this service unless you are EXTREMELY flexible on when the actual work will be done.

I have contracted Golden Floors many times in the past 8 years. We do have a great relationship. They are reliable, efficient and very reasonably priced. What a pleasure to work with Golden Floors !! Whenever I can, I try to work with people in the nearby neighborhood, I went to Unilocal and found Golden, it’s like three blocks away. Mr. Castillo came on the very next day that I called and gave me an estimate on my 1918, all but virgin floors. The floors were in good condition for wear, kinda amazing for a house of this age. The floors had been covered with some flooring material in the 60’s that served to preserve the oak floors. The price of the refinnishing included kitchen, hallway, dining room living room and one small bedroom was something under $ 1600. It made me wonder why I hadn’t done it before, in one of the two major rennovations that I’ve done in my 41 years in the home (I’m the second owner since the home was built in 1918). Of course, I know why I hadn’t done it — — for the INTENSITY of it all, one must all but vacate. You can’t walk on the floor in the phases of primer and finish, it has to dry… If you have a layout such that you can avoid the worked-​on areas, fine, but in a small bungalow like this, there is no flow. The positves are — –you’ve just restored a hugely important feature to the home, and — - since you have everything cleared out, you can touch up paint and
whatnot before you replace furniture — -oh, and you can get rid of your rugs because the floor will DAZZLE you! Recommend Golden Floors because they are craftsmen with attention to detail. Everything was explained and they kept to everything they said. A mark of a good company is when defects are pointed to that should be fixed. Golden showed me some problem boards, and replaced them. I was most impressed with their techs, who, thankfully, wore dust masks. I get upset to see these young ones defy simple safety by not usintg simple dust masks when using any small particles, and I always mention it — we must insist on worker safety when we are paying for the job. Golden Floors were fairly priced, did top notch work, start and finished as they said they would. They do installation as well as refinishing… I’m going to call them back to do some wood tiles needed in a bedroom.
