History
Established in 1997.
Dr. Lee is a native of Korea. He moved to Maryland in 1974 and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland in Baltimore. Dr. Lee received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1996 from the University of Maryland at Baltimore.
Opening his first office in Silver Spring in late 1997, he has devoted his professional career to all aspects of dentistry with a focus on cosmetic dentistry, including porcelain veneers and crowns.
In 2002, Dr. Lee expanded into the Ellicott City, Maryland area and increased his focus to include Implant Dentistry, Neuromuscular Dentistry, Dentistry for Diabetics, Sleep Apnea Treatment Options, Sedation Dentistry and Laser Dentistry, always maintaining emphasis on patient comfort.
In July 2015, the Ellicott City office relocated to Columbia, Maryland and changed our name to Columbia Advanced Dental Studio and once again increased services and technology to improve patient care.

Business Owner
Dr. David Lee, a graduate of University of Maryland Baltimore College of Dental Surgery has been practicing since 1997. He is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantology, an Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and an Associate Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. He has attended the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI), and is a member of the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain, Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, American Dental Association, Maryland State Dental Association and the Southern Maryland Dental Society.
Dr. Lee is committed to providing his patients with the latest in dental technology including laser dentistry, sedation dentistry, neuromuscular dentistry (TMJ disorders), and the treatment of sleep apnea.
Dr. David Lee is married with two children and enjoys football (go Ravens!) and baseball (go Orioles!). You will often find him out and about with his dog Sampson.
