History

Established in 1997.

Carbone Entertainment was founded over 15 years ago on the sunny boardwalks of Ocean City, Maryland, when they opened the first hairwrap stand on the East Coast.

They quickly expanded with several additional stands in OC as well as Rehoboth and also branched out into temporary tattoos: crystal tattoos, decal tattoos and glitter tattoos, as well as henna and airbrushed tattoos. They soon combined forces with the neighboring airbrush t-​shirt stands.

Vacationing families that frequented the Eastern Shore began to express their desires to bring a bit of the beach and boardwalk home to their special events. Carbone Entertainment was the perfect company to make that possible!

Karen Carbone relocated her growing operation to Silver Spring, MD and has been successfully providing her party services in the Washington, DC, Baltimore area for over a decade.

With her strong theatre, film, and TV performing background as well as nearly 15 years of operating several summer hairwrapping and temporary tattoo shops in Ocean City, MD, Karen has been able to bring a bit of beach-​style fun to many different parties and special occasions.

Karen has developed a passion for designing and creating entertainment services for festivities ranging from children’s parties in individual homes to Bar/​Bat Mitzvahs in ballrooms to corporate events in convention centers. She offers the professional experience and pizazz to make every event memorable and fun for all!
