History

Established in 2002.

1World Aero has been providing Flight Instruction, Aircraft Rental, Charter Brokerage, and Flightseeing services for over a decade from the Tipton Airport in Odenton, Maryland. Having started with one Socata TB10 in 2002, our fleet has grown steadily, always favoring the elegant Socata series low-​wing aircraft as the platform of choice. Over the years we have earned a strong reputation for safety, attention to detail, customer care, and superior flight training.

Business Owner

Terry has been a full time Flight Instructor since 1999, and with over 10,000 flight hours, has helped countless individuals pursue their flight training dreams and objectives. In 2003 Terry launched 1World Aero, with a Socata Tobago airplane, and has grown the aircraft rental fleet and flight school operation to its present day size. Terry’s 1World Aero also fielded aircraft for charter flights for several years, and thus is well placed for charter brokerage services.

Terry is not only qualified on fleet Socata aircraft and most light airplane platforms, but also undergoes recurrent training for Technically Advanced Aircraft such as the Cirrus Perspective series and for pressurized aircraft such as the Cessna 414 and Piper Meridian.

Terry is also fluent in French and Spanish, and provides flightseeing consultation services for pilots who wish to fly to the Caribbean and Latin America.
