Here at XCell Fitness Academy, we strive to help you maintain a healthy balance between your workout goals and your life. That’s why we have created fun and exciting group classes that will have you burning calories and coming back for more. From group classes that start in the early morning and continue into the late evening, we are sure to have classes that fit your schedule. We also offer open gym hours that will allow you to come and workout on your own time. If group classes and open gym isn’t your thing we have personal trainers that can build customize training programs that fit your goals and individual needs. Need a massage? Here at XCell Fitness Academy we offer a wide range of massage therapy from licensed massage therapists. We also believe in offering all of our members full access to everything at our gym. That’s right. All of our classes and open gym are included in the unlimited membership. Now, all you need to do is decide when it’s best for you to come and do your fit

History

Established in 2014.

The concept of XCell Fitness Academy started several years ago when I started personal training. I got tired of the monotonous style of chain gyms that cared more about profits then results for clients. I wanted to be able to deliver a innovative way of training that encompassed all styles of training and can be tailored to all fitness levels. That’s exactly what XCell Fitness Academy delivers, a training program that challenges you in every way and brings results.

Business Owner

Matthew is a graduate from California State University Long Beach with his Bachelors in Dietetics & Food Administration. He is currently working on his Masters in Public Health. With his life long love of physical fitness and background in personal training Matthew is well equipped with the necessary tools to help anyone achieve their fitness and nutrition goals. He is NASM-​CPT, CES, and FNS certified.

been coming here for a week now and I love it, Matt is a great instructor and encourages you to keep up and do better. there’s times where I feel like quitting because I’m not as «strong» as most people there and feel like I’m always last to finish but hey everyone starts somewhere. This gym is amazing! I’ve done lots of different workouts (boxing, crossfit, boot camp) and this is the best workout in terms of challenging and strengthening my body. This is functional fitness and its different every day. The trainers are extremely helpful and knowledgeable and the classes are challenging but safe. They will help you to modify no matter what your fitness level is. There are people of all ages and backgrounds here and the vibe is always fun and positive. Matt is an incredible trainer who emphasizes nutrition in addition to working out, which I really appreciate. He is always available for advice and help. Come in and give this gym a try!

I bought a deal for $ 40 for one month unlimited on Amazon. I just started going this week and I really like it! Everybody is very welcoming and friendly at no time do I feel I’m infringing on someone else’s workout (which has happened at other box gyms). It’s a great workout and I as a beginner really appreciate the modifications that still challenge me. They incorporate thee hill as part of the workout which is a great use of that resource… It’s partially why I chose to try this place out. I want to conquer that hill without needing a third lung! Great spot great box great folks here!

This is a legit strength & conditioning gym. Great equipment, and plenty of space. The coaches are friendly and knowledgeable. I had a great workout without any hassle. 5 Olympic lifting platforms and power racks. A great place to work on your fitness goals. I’ve checked out every gym in the area and this is, by far, the best.

I’ve done quite a few fitness programs over the years (boxing, crossfit, 24, etc). I’ve been doing XCell since Nov 14 and it’s easily the best fit for me.
–The facility itself is much bigger than an average crossfit/​HIIT gym — which means the activities are a lot more varied BC you can do activities that just wouldn’t be feasible in a small space (partner band pulls, box sleds, etc). The work-​outs largely revolve around olympic lifts though.
— Parking is never a problem
–The work outs are extremely challenging but not to the extent you’re you’re being encouraged to hurt yourself. The trainers are very knowledgeable and concerned about injuries and how to prevent them. They will spend ample time to focus on proper stretching and form to ensure members are working out safely.
— Some fitness programs come across as «cult» like. This is not the case here. Members are very friendly but understand it’s not church.
— The trainers are awesome, fun, and knowledgeable. They are also very flexible and will make accomodations/​adjustments based on individual needs.

I love working out at Xcell Fitness! This gym is clean and modern! There are plenty of classes to fit our busy schedules! Matt is an amazing trainer, always watching to make sure our exercises are done correctly not to injure ourselves. Doesn’t matter your age, or fitness experience, they will always customize a workout to fit your needs! Xcell also has plenty of info on maintaining good nutrition with Onit Meals or Isagenix. Check out their first month deal!!!

Jenny and Matt are amazing! They can work with anyone at any level. I was so nervous to start up at a new gym because im such a creature of habbit, but after taking one class with them all that went away. They are so fun, encouraging, and really focus on technique. The classes are always different, and they are always testing and pushing you to get to the next level.

I have been working out for years and nothing has ever challenged my body the way these workouts do. Though you can go at your own pace, the energy from others drives me to workout harder than I would be able to on my own. I can’t wait to see how quickly my body fat is going to drop from these classes! Amazing staff, very welcoming and the gym has everything you would possibly need!
