Platt Security Systems

More than once this company drives the wrong way on our one way street in front of the apartment. I have small children with me always in my vehicle so for them to drive this way puts my family in danger of a car accident which would’ve been on purpose because they blatantly disregard the laws of the road. I called this company and the person over the phone said they aren’t, I repeat, ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE for the way the people representing their company drive. This is dangerous. They are going to hurt someone.

Who is the fat loudmouth woman yelling about her lip gloss? This person is doing some sort of maintenance on the pay kiosk on 4^th. Her and the guy driving the Platt Security car are standing out here telling the world about her lip gloss experience. We hear you already! It’s 7:30 in the morning… Shut up!

One of these cars literally almost ran over me and my dog crossing the street. It was speeding in a residential area, didn’t slow at a stop sign and rolled right through it. Then it proceeded to drag race down the rest of the street to the stoplight.
Completely unprofessional and unsafe driving behavior. I don’t know how this company can call itself a security company when it has no regard for public safety.
If I ever see this car in my neighborhood again I am absolutely reporting it to the police.

This company is out of Irvine. And by far, the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. Not just the worst security company — but the most unhelpful and erroneous company of all time. And it’s scary that in case of an emergency, I have to trust them with my LIFE.
I’ll admit, we’re «those» neighbors who have the audacity to require sleep at night, and at 1 am we like peace and quiet from time to time. I know it’s selfish — especially when there are just so many people to take selfies with! We try our best to be cool, but my husband and I had to work at 5am, and we had to tell our neighbors the show could not go on. We’ve tried being nice. We’ve tried being the cool couple that joined in. But this time we needed the «professionals» to step in… Yah, that didn’t happen.
I called Christie or crystal in the office 3 times and each time she got less concerned and more condescending. The last phone call I told her security never came and she was so apathetic, I actually heard her flip me the bird.
It’s painfully ironic that the largest private real estate company, the Irvine company, uses them. I’m really considering never renting from the Irvine company again because of this.

The company I work for contracts with security companies nationwide so I have personal experience many different security companies. My husband decided on Platt Security for our home burglar and fire alarm system. From the day our system was installed we had problems. First the installation technician did not know how to program the system so a week later another technician came to our home who programmed the system, but was not proficient on training us how to properly use the system. Although we’ve asked for the manual numerous times so we have never been given the manual so when we have problems with the system it’s extremely frustrating to reset the system not knowing the correct procedures for each incident. I’ve had to call twice for service each time no one showed up when we were told they would. I would NEVER recommend Platt Security.

Platt Security Systems were hired by our HOA and in our community we have some of the least qualified security guards, with the worst customer service. The ones that patrol do not understand the LIMITED scope of legal authority of private security personnel. One guard frequently speeds through the community, flashes spot lights into windows and tampers with legally parked home owners vehicles. One even allowed a process server into the building and lied to tenant, saying he had a delivery, to coax tenant outside for service.

These people have the worst customer service ever. We called because our alarm system was beeping and we can not reach the piece of the system. The call was placed at 7:20am and they told us they would be there by 5:00pm that day, but would most likely be there between 1:00pm-2:00pm. Around 4:00pm we called back to find all the techs were still busy elsewhere and now our service would have to be moved till tomorrow, but they promised to be there at 7:00am.
7:15am rolls around and we call just to make sure they are coming. We are told now that it will be between 8:00am and noon. Aside from the constant changing of our appointment Platt was also extremely rue and unprofessional on the phone.
In addition we have been broken into a few times even though Platt supposedly patrols twice a day. All in all a terrible service.
