Love this place staff is very knowledgeable, friendly, and on special orders it only takes a week. I love this place so much if they don’t have it in Stock I don’t mind waiting.

Extremely nice workers and altogether awesome shop. I came in to possibly search for some new dog food and Mike, the owner, handed me bags of free samples. He guaranteed that my finicky girl would love the venison PureVita and boy was he right. She will not stop gobbling it down.
He also informed us of his rewards program where you buy a certain amount of dog food and get a bag for free. Not to mention, he told us that anything he didn’t have on the shelves would be available the following Wednesday if we order through him with a whopping 40% off tag price.
Overall, you can tell these people care about their customers and their animals and ensuring good prices to come their way.
They have really cool and exotic fish, reptiles and rodents on top of the occasional kitten.

Circle pet is literally my second home. I have been going here ever since their old location. The plus to going there is the people. The owner and his mom especially, they are the best people ever. Really educated on many many different animals and are always willing to help out with anything. I tell everyone with lizards or exotic animals to go there for everything ! I will always be a costumer there for as long as I have animals (and that will be always)

This place has gone way down hill since they relocated! I used to get all my reef supplies here but now the shelves are always empty! The tanks are empty all the time! I went in tonight for salt for my reef and AGAIN no salt! They can’t even keep the basics stocked. So sad because this place used to be awesome. Strictly fish here I come!

Best pet store hands down. Knowledgable, helpful and friendly staff. I bought my red tail boa here 8 months ago. They helped me understand everything about owning a red tail specifically, and gave me a good price on a used terrarium for her. I go here weekly to get frozen mice. I love the setup they have and how well they treat all of their animals. They are also the go to location for anything aquariums.

They were so helpful here. I won some goldfish at a fair, and came in with a pretty specific idea of the natural looking tank I wanted to set up with real plants for my fish. The very knowledgeable people helped me to create exactly what I wanted.
I went against their advice and put some stones that I had collected during my travels into the tank, which threw off the ph of the water and killed the fish. They helped me trouble shoot the problem, sent me home with water in a bucket that was already balanced for the fish and helped me pick out some safe rocks that I could add to the tank, and gave me replacement fish.
I cannot say enough about how helpful they were I highly recommend this place.

I was very upset when I witnessed a teenager whom is supposedly working there, grab a cat by the neck and the tail and spin him on the concrete floor. I was stunned, and told him to stop, and the female who was ringing up my purchase, just stood there. The owner ran after me, and said he was «helping» this troubled child. Although I appreciated him coming out to speak with me, he made excuses for this individual’s behavior. I will never shop here, again. I may even contact ASPCA.

Great family shop with friendly staff. I met these guys at Pet Expo, orange county. They have nice selection of freshwater and saltwater fauna and dry goods. They also have pond stuff too. This shop caters for all sorts of animals. The bunnies they have were healthy and adorable. If you’re a SCAPE club member they will give you a generous discount! Thanks Circle Pet.

My experience here was phenomenal! The store was a tad out of stock but the seahorses were healthy and beautiful. I normally don’t give a 4 star unless I purchase, but the manager was so awesome I had to give the experience a 4.

I love this store, everyone has always been very helpful any time I am here. There is always someone coming up to see if you need assistance, and have always been helpful with any questions.

I went last night to pick out my first snake and I was very impressed. My partner and I had gone to Prehistoric Pets a few days earlier and were severely bummed by how horrible their customer service was, not to mention how crammed their tanks were and how few snakes they had for sale. When we came to Circle Pet last night, we were so relieved to see snakes happy in their large tanks. They even have more in the back to look at! The girl that helped us took out snake after snake to have us get to know all our options. The staff is very knowledgeable– oftentimes they even bring their own pets into the store to stay with them while they work!
We were happy to put together a custom enclosure and fill it with all our new friend’s needs. We love that they buy and sell used reptile enclosures, water bowls and hides! With a snake like ours that will grow continuously, there is no need to spend crazy amounts of money on the changeable parts in the cage. The staff answered all our questions and offered an incredible range of options, and they can always custom order enclosures and pieces to suit your needs.

What a wonderful and knowledgeable pet store. I normally go in and buy what I need but this time I used their web site. Fast and easy. Not to mention the prices are very reasonable. I’ve been going to circle pet for more then 20 years, and it nice to see warm friendly faces. Family owned and run, they make you and your pet feel like family. I will definitely use their web site again.

This used to be a really cool spot to go to when they were at the traffic circle. Seems like there fish section never really recovered from the move to Signal Hill. It is almost non-​existent now with a good portion of the tanks not having anything in them. I remember them having a plan for a huge corner tank that I don’t think ever panned out.
I will say that if you are looking for other reptiles then it’s a good place to check out. Other than that you will only find a few dry goods for you fish lovers out there. My friend picked up a great piece of driftwood here!

The animals in this store are in cramped and dirty living conditions. There were even a bunch of little tropical fish (guppies) in the outdoor pond in front of the store with the koi fish (guppies and koi have different temperature requirements for their health). I do not recommend this pet store.

Been here a couple times since my last review and the bunny area has improved and we appreciate that.
are finding homes for bunnies here too.
Even though I would I recommend adoption places like Rabbit Rescue, Bunny Bunch Boutique, or Petco (from Rabbit Rescue), this place is an option to find a baby bunny for that family looking to bring one into their home.
We still come here to buy their Oxford baked Bunny treats that they now carry!

We just purchased three fire bellied newts here. The owner seemed very knowledgeable and trustworthy. She was very helpful with helping us with our new pets. Great tips and suggestions. I felt like she knew what she was talking about unlike those large chain pet stores. I left feeling confident in caring for my new family members. :) Service was awesome. Prices were reasonable.
The store has a huge variety of pets here — reptiles, rodents, fish, amphibians, kittens, rabbits… Great place to take the kids for a fun visit. My daughter loved it here.
Glad to support this business and I would go back.

The staff, which turned out to be the owners are very helpful and knowledgeable about reptiles. My boyfriend purchased a chameleon here last month and we just love her. She is a glutton though so upon going to pick up more food for our dear Remy, I ran into the momma owner and she helped answer so many terrarium decorating questions that I had. Her intelligent explanations reminds me of my biology teacher from my college days. This is the big difference between a chain pet store and Circle Pet folks! You will learn how to properly care for your exotic pet and not just get a blank stare like most staff in the chain pet stores give me. If you want to be a successful owner, I suggest coming here for your questions and pet needs.

I was just tagging along with my buddy, who needed crickets, but I ended up browsing. Wide range of animals.

I have been coming here since I was a kid when they were actually located on the Traffic Circle to check out all the cool fish and animals they have here.
More recently, we come here for cat food, specifically Tiki Cat which is not carried at any other pet store and is the only food our spoiled ass cat will eat. (Has chunks of fish in it).
