Hanes Russell K DDS

I really love Dr Hanes himself he is a great dentist! However, after the ordeal I have had with the front staff I will not be going back. I had gone back after years and was told that they would bill my insurance and the day I was told something completely different. I let them know I did not have my card that I would be able to pay them when my daughter got back from her trip with my debit card. unfortunately while she was gone my mother was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and I haven’t had an opportunity make it to the office and they do not take debit cards over the phone. they told me I could send a check and unfortunately I don’t have any. explain the whole situation with my mother and not having checks and they said that I would be in there just as soon as possible. I was told «It is unfortunate about your mother but we need a payment.» I have never felt more insulted in my life. I guess it’s time to look for new dentist, unfortunately, due to his staff anybody have any suggestions?

After spending the last five years growing increasingly unhappy with my dentist, I spent six months researching a new one. Dr. Hanes came highly recommended via every social circle I inquired. I went to visit him for the first time this morning and I now cannot believe I wasted five years of my mouth elsewhere.
The office doesn’t look like much on the outside, but the interior is beautiful and the equipment very modern. The staff is personable and efficient, and the dentist actually had a detailed conversation with me concerning the health of my teeth. Something I was not at all used to. Dr. Hanes engaged me at every turn of the initial exam. It was almost as if he saw me as a human being, but I can’t be sure.
I walked out of his office aware of serious issues my previous dentist never once alerted me to, and with a comprehensive plan in mind to correct them. AND they were sensitive to my wallet, advising me on the best, most cost-​efficient ways to budget the work ahead.
They smiled, cracked jokes, demonstrated expertise and… they cared. Amazing.
