Pam did an awesome job and was very gentle in her ways (massage).
The music could have been a little louder in the room, but I left feeling better than when I came there!

First, if you’re a guy and never experienced a facial, you don’t know what you’re missing. Particularly if you’re 40 or older, in terms of how skins tends to… age. I’m delighted to report that I just had the best facial I’ve had, EVER, from Pam Fathi at the Center for Wellbeing. My first visit there, and I’m already scheduled for next month. Go for it!

Just stepping into the Center for Wellbeing reduces your stress! Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable. I have had several services– Ayurvedic Foot Ritual, Custom Massage, and the Aroma Touch Massage – all excellent and you are guaranteed to walk out feeling amazing – it is even hard to drive home you are so relaxed! There is a large selection of services to choose from and they tailor services to your specific needs.

What a great find in sleepy Sierra Madre. I walked in for my massage with muscles stiff and sore, my back holding all of the tension of the holidays and I walked out relaxed and jelly-​legged from Tanya’s skilled hands. The location is very peaceful and the center has many different forms of healing and spiritual practices. I can’t wait to go back again.

Just step inside, and you’ll be transformed too. The space has a sweet, soothing energy that immediately starts to relax me, before I even get on the massage table. Yes, the massage was great! Deep tissue. I was definitely feeling it. Cinny is amazing! And, Tanya, thank you for creating such a magical place.

My skin has issues with acne, pigmentation, dryness, and redness. Jamie is so knowledgeable and always gives me thorough information about how to care for my skin. I have never broken out after a facial, which for me is normally what happens. I highly recommend Jamie!

I made a much needed appointment with Tanya for a massage. The peace and calm when I walked into the Center set the tone for the rest of my experience. Aside from Tanya having magical hands, I left the Center for Wellbeing looking forward to my return and experiencing additional services. I highly recommend making a day of it.

I have horrible skin, rosacea, acne, dryness, and nothing has ever helped. Then I started seeing Jamie about a year ago and my skin has cleared up. I highly recommend Jamie!!!

Best. Massage. Ever! Booked an appointment with Tanya for my birthday. I came out of the spa feeling like jello. Tanya definitely has magic hands and was able to work out so many knots I didn’t realize I had. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Saw Yvonne for eyebrows & a facial, then Michelle for a hot-​stone massage.
I’ve been having problems with my dry skin for months, seeing my dermatologist three times with no improvement, but Yvonne treated it and the difference is already notable!
Michelle gave such a relaxing and effective massage, I felt so relaxed I could hardly drive back home.
Highly recommend this relaxing and beautiful spot in Sierra Madre.

I discovered I’m as lumpy as a Motel 6 mattress. Half price massage? How can you go wrong? One hour of Swedish massage for 37.50? That works for me. The room was clean and sparse, the table was heated (or not, your choice) the music was typical, drift away spa music.
The massage oil or lotion was not over scented and Lauren’s
hands were firm, smooth and soft. The firmness was perfect, she asked.
I purchased two additional massages for family. Contact them. You’ll be glad you did.

Went in during spa week. $ 50 for a 90 minute massage. Room was very relaxing, great relaxing spa music. Melissa did my massage and focused on the spots I told her. She was great, I felt so relaxed all day. Definitely recommend this spa, walk around the cute city after.

It was one of the best facials I’ve ever had. Seriously. By that I mean, it worked! I saw results when I looked in the mirror — not just a clean face. My skin looked brighter, clearer, smoother, glowing. I came in for a microdermabrasion and I really appreciated that Yvonne spoke up and told me it wasn’t a good idea for my skin type. That showed me that she knows what she’s doing and won’t steer you wrong. I got a glycolic facial and, oh man, what a great recommendation. I’m going back in two months for another one. This is one of those Groupon experiences that was well worth it.
The mini-​massage was excellent! Excellent, I say!
Only gave 4 stars because I think Yvonne should encourage the receptionist to work on customer service skills. Enough said.

I bought the Living Social deal for an hour long massage and facial. I was able to book my services quickly and felt the staff was very polite. The massage was one of the best I have ever had! Tanya (I think) was attentive and made sure to spend extra time on my «trouble zones,» like my neck and upper back. I would def go back and pay full price!

I went in for a microdermabrasion facial with Jamie.
The store is sparse but clean, very small, like a small neighborhood spa.
The facial was quick — 45 minutes total. I was there 10 minutes early, Jamie was 10 minutes late.
The facial itself was ok, it started with a steaming, a quick go-​over with the microdermabrasion machine, a few extractions, a mask, moisturizer, an extremely short foot massage and you are done — all very quick.
Jamie told me I should also add on a treatment that stimulates collagen, $ 20, which I refused. She wasn’t extremely pushy but it’s still very uncomfortable… because you can’t help but wonder… is she going to be mad and not really put in effort to complete the rest of the facial?
I would call it an express facial except it was $ 60 — groupon special. I would never pay full price for that — $ 120. Even at $ 60, I don’t think it was worth it at all.
For those prices, I would go to an high end spa, with full facilities, which I go to once in a while to treat myself. I was looking for a facial store that was more reasonably priced for more frequent clean ups for my face, but this is definitely not it.

First of all, this place is gorgeous! It has that sense of calm and serenity that immediately puts me in a wonderful and relaxed mood. I have been seeing Yvonne for over a year, and she is the ONLY one I would trust with my face now. She completely changed the texture of skin! I get compliments on my complexion now, where before it was something I really struggled with. Ooo, and I can’t recommend the pumpkin peel enough! My skin loves it, and it’s perfect for the fall/​winter season.
I newly tried the full brazilian waxing, which after having friends try to talk me into it I finally went for the full thing. Ok, as a woman whom normally shaves, waxing was a whole different experience. I won’t say it didn’t hurt but it was very quick and actually less painful than I was thinking. And the results… well I may be addicted now. In and out in less than 15 minutes and clean for weeks.
