Cycle de Pro

Stopped in today randomly on a day-​trip up to the mountain. Excellent customer service, awesome selection of gear (Maap, Black Sheep, Café du Cycliste!) and killer coffee. I wish these guys were closer to Long Beach but you can bet I’ll be back!

The people here were friendly and the drinks were phenomenal. Definitely better than Starbucks. I would stop here if you’re craving a cup of joe and in the area!
The sweet vanilla latte is to die for!

The coffee here is excellent, I really like their iced almond latte. I recommend it to anyone. And the owner is very nice. You can grab a coffee while you get your bike fixed, or just have coffee :) super convenient

This shop is pure, unadulterated, raw bike porn!!! Unbelievable selection of high end bikes, gear, and accessories. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. Plus a coffee shop to go with… heaven on earth!!! Check this boutique shop out, by far the best on the east side, no other comes close.

My hesitation to experience Cycle de Pro and it’s great staff sooner was merely on my stubbornness to not want to do the Montrose ride anymore due to the fact that it has become less enjoy as of late. This being said, I absolutely had to have the extralite top cap in gold to match my ride so I called Vincent and without hesitation, he sold me the last one he had on a bike he had just built. My second experience came when I visited the shop a few days later. The staff although young and full of energy, displayed professionalism beyond their age and the knowledge capacity to solve any mechanical problem. Simon is a maestro at his craft! And the coffees prepared by Patrick are delicious as well.

Great bike shop! Mechanic solved my wife’s «squeak» in minutes after I spent a week trying to figure it out. (plastic hub cones needed a little grease, I WD40’d everything else) — Awesome coffee, great idea!!! Actual space is a little small and odd shaped for the idea, but location is epic for cycling! Hope you guys can nab a better retail space on that street someday! Guys were totally cool, no problemo’s!!!

Needed some work done on my mountain bike quickly, took it in and in 45 minutes it was done. And the price was excellent! I’ll be back!

Amazing coffee! I don’t know what magic they put in my coffee but this is by far the best coffee I have ever tasted! I was around the neighborhood and was craving for a coffee fix and Cycle de Pro didn’t disappoint. I love their high chair that’s made of bicycle parts? How cool is that! I want one in my house!

Excellent service. I left my 2003 Trek Madone here for a tune up after having it buried in my garage for two years, it’s summer time I really want to ride it again. After getting the tune up when I see my bike again I almost thought it was a new bike! Come here if you want quality.

This place is great and a perfect fit for the city of Sierra Madre. I love stopping by here on my runs. I just got into the cycling scene and they were very helpful and informative.

Great shop and great group of guys at this shop.
I have been dealing with another bike shop regarding my bb30 noises and other issues. The other shops were clueless regarding the issues that were causing my problem. I did a lot of research on line and tried explaining the other shop on what other people and the actual manufacturer was recommending .
Well, the mechanics at cycle de pro knew exactly what I was talking about after we spoke for 5 minutes. They kept the bike overnight and did their magic.
I have ridden the bike almost a week now and it is just perfect.
Highly recommend this shop.

Parking: Plenty of parking along Sierra Madre Blvd. Make sure you don’t make a U turn, because there are big signs that notifies people not to do it!
Location: Downtown Sierra Madre. Next to T-​Neer!
Ambiance: Loved it! Very relaxing and the interaction between all the cyclists are truly awesome. Everyone knew each others name and lives. Makes me feel like getting my own bike and join them on the weekends.
Décor: Simple décor with awesome stool chairs. They look like little unicycles with foot pedals. Sadly, they don’t move. :-P
Service: Loved the service! Matt (barista) was very friendly, informative, and met all our needs. He even went above and beyond and offered me milk when he saw me order a black drift coffee.
Drink of choice: I got the drift coffee which consisted of Costa Rica El Tigre coffee beans. I thought the coffee was pretty strong and had this distinct floral undertones.
Hopefully I can come back next time to try their cold brew that they pride themselves on. Unfortunately, their cold brew machine broke down when I went.

My go to shop for my bike repair/​tune up needs. Great service and great coffee too. I’ve sent many friends here for service or a bike wash none have come back with any complaints.
The bike mechanics are the bread and butter of this shop and they are great bike mechanics. Bring them donuts, beer and whatever else will fuel their wrenching.
This shop is does leans more towards the boutique side and carries some brands you won’t find anywhere else in a bicycle retail environment.
Support local business and don’t complain about a RETAIL store charging RETAIL prices.

Don’t ride a bike but I do love coffee. The baristas are cool and the coffee is really good. They have a modern and very welcoming atmosphere. This needs to be more than a local fave!

Prices are high, most of the items are are priced, its always sketchy when a store does not price their merchandise.
Sam is a very good mechanic and seems to be knowledgeable with his trade.

4 ½ stars… but don’t want to break the 5 star streak so I’ll round up!
Stopped in for the first time this morning on my walk home from breakfast. I was wanting something other than my usual Starbucks, so thought I’d venture in. I ordered an iced caramel latte and it was pretty good! The bicycle décor is cute and there are also tables outside. The guy behind the bar wasn’t too friendly, but he wasn’t rude either. He just took my order, made my drink, and that was it. Would be nice if he said ‘good morning’ or ‘is this your first time here?’ or something like that. Oh well, he got the job done, so that’s all that really matters.

Stan lee, Simon, and Bree were just too kind when my buddies and I rode to the shop. Original plan was to grab coffee at some point during the ride. Well those plans changed when my bib started to fall apart on me and I ended up buying a Pissei bib from this shop.
Stan lee was so kind and generous. Also, Simon was very knowledgable.

I was surprised to see a café attached to this bike shop called Café de Pro. I got their iced latte (Cycle de Latte) with almond milk, and it was quite good. The person working the café was super friendly. The café is part of the FiveStars customer loyalty program so you can earn points toward a free drink.
I love their bar stools with bicycle wheel detail! There is bar stool seating along the window but no electrical outlets so not the ideal place to work on your laptop.
