Belle’s Nest

I love the arts and crafts by local artisans at Belle’s Nest. The proprietors are super nice and helpful. I’ve gotten many gifts for others there, and some for myself! Also really cool hand-​printed greeting cards. Make sure to go to the patio/​garden at the back.

Drove 35 minutes out of my way to check out this amazing shop! Totally worth the traffic on the way back home. If you are looking to spruce up some old furniture, be sure to head over here for a can of Maison Blanche chalk paint. If you can’t make the drive, they ship! Such a cute boutique, I can’t wait to go back & spend a lot of time checking everything out. Both of the women working there were so wonderful & welcoming!!! I love this place

The owners Elena and Gloria are really helpful, warm, and friendly! They also get all the most unique and handmade things to fill the store. You can definitely find a gift for all types of people in here!

I love this place! It is my go to place for gorgeous, artistic, unique and special gifts. I have been shopping here for as long as they have been in business and I am never disappointed in the inventory or the quality of the products. Plus, just a simple stroll through this store is like a vacation. The owners do such a great job with changing the décor and keeping it interesting. No matter where you live, it’s worth the drive.

I love this shop. I stop in as often as I can since their stock is constantly changing. Great, unique handmade items as well as fun items that range for all age groups. They have a lovely little garden in the back with items for sale and they also do fun workshops for kids and adults.

This is such a great store whether you’re looking for a little something to spruce up your home or for a gift for that special friend or family member. They have such a great selection of candles, jewelry, purses, beautfiul glassware and furniture pieces, just to name a few. I especially love browsing through their store just to see what new items are out on display. The owners are wonderful ladies. Belle’s Nest is my favorite store to visit when I’m in the area.

Awesome place bought my son a cool rock and I bought a neat sketch journal and it is beautiful… so many neat cool and unique things in this place I could definitely get lost here… My son also makes a point to always go in this cool shop!

This place has it all. Plus the owner is so lovely. She never eyes you like a security guard, and she’s a very fun, engaging, and extremely helpful person.

This is a gift shop boutique with hand made paper products, soaps, jewelry, journals, and spiritual products. Also cards and gifts. Chimes and aromas fill the store, Smells of lavender in here.
The women who work here are very friendly. It is a Lovely little shop.

CUTE CUTE CUTE is all I can say about this gift store. Amazing items selected by the owners Gloria and Elena. Wonderful ladies with a fantastic store. They have just what you need and more… I highly recommend checking them out for fun and unique items.

I love this little store, was walking around Sierra Madre and my sister recommended we stop in and have a look around. I am so glad she did.
I found some of the cutest items to purchase as gifts for friends and family. They have an array of semi precious stones at very reasonable prices. The jewelry selection is unique and features the goods of local artists. There were too many pieces I loved, I could have spent a fortune in here.
The candles and soaps all smell amazing, a gift can be found here for virtually anyone. The section for little ones was filled with some cute onesies, cool books and a ton of learning toys. The store has a cool vibe and a great atmosphere. The patio out back had some really awesome pottery pieces and larger items, like a totally rad china cabinet that was the perfect size for the dining area in the new house.
I will be back in soon, there are a few items I need to pick up when we move into the new house.

Walk into this shop and be transformed! If you’re having a bad day, you’ll remember the joy and beauty all around. The owners enhance the experience… allowing shoppers the pleasure of looking. No pressure! Great place for handmade gifts and self-​care rewards. I just bought a few gift certificates for business clients. The gift of «handmade» always carries more value to me. It’s special. Plus, I feel good supporting local artists. Visit! And inspire your own creativity.

Belle’s Nest is the best kept secret in the LA area. With all of the unique, hand-​made items they stock, it is difficult to visit this store and not buy something — whether it’s for someone else, or yourself. The owners are pleasant and go out of their way to help you; but, they are not overbearing and leave you alone to shop as long as you like. The store atmosphere is pleasant, the many craft classes they offer provide something for everyone, and the prices are very reasonable. This store is always first on my list of places to visit in Sierra Madre.

I absolutely love Belle’s Nest!
They have unique gift items and offer fun craft classes. I’ve attended the furniture painting class with Krissy and now my classroom furniture is EXCITING! They carry Cece Caldwell paints, which need to be experienced, to be believed.
I’ve also taken two classes with Rosie. I’ve made two art globes and had so much fun! Rosie has lots of great ideas.
I found that Rosie and Krissy (of Boho Upcycle) to be patient and generous teachers. What a fantastic way to spend a day… creating art!

We stopped by the store during the Sierra Madre Art walk (first Friday of the month). I know they displayed the works of some of the local artisans, but it also looked like they carry a wonderful selection of gifts on any given day. From organic soaps to fine jewelry, with textile and frames in between. Everything seems to be of excellent quality. A cool spot to pick up a unique, personal and elegant gift. I will not lie — not cheap and mostly for girls, for I haven’t spotted anything macho like in the store :)

This shop is so cute and the owner is so friendly! This is my first stop for gifts since they have something for everyone (well, mostly for girls) but they have little crafted items in every price range. I have found like small gifts for a few dollars up to fancier more expensive gifts.
I really appreciate that they carry a lot of free trade and some religious gifts … I really love that this store is not afraid to stock crosses, sacred hearts, and cards with quotes from saints on them. I’ve purchased these little Christian gifts often and love them, but for those who aren’t religious, the shop would not offend you at all, it has beautiful pieces for everyone and the religious items are tucked in there so you probably won’t even notice them.
I also discovered that there are a variety of garden and outdoor items out back, so be sure to check that out when you visit!

Living in Sierra Madre, I continue to enjoy the window displays at Belle’s Nest during my constitutionals along Baldwin Avenue. Now this storefront can conduct a lively conversation with Wistaria across the street.
What distinguishes Belle’s Nest is how the scale of the furniture and the goods are gauged towards intimacy in the home and garden. Nesting behavior need not be restricted to our domestic habitats: think about transporting that sense of shelter to the office environment or elsewhere.
