Nice small town café. There is alot of variety to the menu and choices. Good food. Have eaten here several times. The people who run the place are very friendly and when asked about what they have are very knowledgeable about food. Homemade menu. If your not sure of what to order. Just ask a costumers or staff, friendly place. Someone will give u a recommendation on their favorites.

Place rating: 5 Sidney, IA
Sidney is blessed with 3 pretty durn good places to eat for a town of 1100. The town«grows up» for 1 week a year when the«Sidney Iowa Championship Rodeo» brings thousands of visitors to their annual PRCA event, locals are blessed with places to enjoy good food year round and the latest is the Horseshoe Café. Located just south of the recently renovated square, the Horseshoe flat knocks it out of the park. I’ve enjoyed an «old style» meat, eggs and potatoes breakfast(perfect over easy eggs, bacon cooked to order and excellent hash browns done just right! Last night I just didn’t feel like cooking so I called and ordered food«to go» at 7:15PM. I had a Patty Melt to die for and fries, Anne had the Chicken Strips and coleslaw. Both were perfectly cooked and ready in a remarkable 7 minutes! Prices? I have to say that The Horseshoe Café has the absolute best prices in the entire area, not just here in town, the entire area! Here’s wishing the owners Kim and Mikel, all the success they so richly deserve! A great and welcome addition to «Rodeo Town USA’s» restaurant scene and worth the drive from the Omaha/Council Bluffs area. The scenery of Iowa’s Loess Hills area and a good meal at the Horseshoe Café will make your trip one to remember, not to mention, it won’t break the bank!
