History

Established in 1992.

Capture the Southwest is entirely based on passion. A passion which ignited in 1991 after owner Stephen Procida took a trip to Arizona and was «captured» himself by the people, the lifestyle and the inspiration of the art that is the Southwest.

Understanding that life is short, and that we are meant to surround ourselves with people and things that bring us pleasure, our mission is to produce a truly beautiful look for your home with items that will inspire you, calm you, and bring enjoyment to you as they have in being created. We stand behind everything we do and sell with the same passion.

Meet the Business Owner

Stephen P.

Business Owner

Capture the Southwest is entirely based on passion. A passion which ignited in 1991 after owner Stephen Procida took a trip to Arizona and was «captured» himself by the people, the lifestyle and the inspiration of the art that is the Southwest.

A successful corporate manager in the commercial contracting trade, Stephen decided to follow his heart and put his talent into creating furniture and custom pieces that embraced the passion he experienced on his trip. Capture the Southwest opened in 1992 as the cumulation of his artistic ability and quality workmanship.

For almost 20 years, we have enjoyed «capturing» a loyal customer base which understands the passion which we are founded on. Combining his natural artistic talent, years of experience and enjoyment in his craft, most pieces are still handcrafted onsite by owner Stephen Procida and our customers enjoy the ability to request one-of-a-kind pieces based on their specifications.
