History
Established in 2007.
The mission of Abilities in Action is to provide excellence in therapy to children with disabilities. We strive to enhance the lives of children with disabilities so they can play and learn with their peers.
The purpose of Abilities in Action is to deliver comprehensive intervention to infants and children within a fun and therapeutic environment.
Abilities in Action holds a strong commitment to the education and collaboration of our staff. We use the most advanced techniques and equipment to help children reach their maximum potential.

Kristin M. Caldarella, PT, MPT, PCS
Kristy is the Owner of Abilities in Action. Kristy is a Pediatric Certified Specialist (PCS) by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. She graduated with a Master of Physical Therapy from Duquesne University in 1996. Prior to opening Abilities in Action, she provided center-based, school-based and home-based physical therapy to infants and young children throughout New Jersey. Kristy is certified in Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT) and Level 1 Cuevas Medek Exercises. She is trained in Infant Massage and Kinesiotaping. She is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), Section on Pediatrics, New Jersey Physical Therapy Association and the Neuro-Developmental Treatment Association (NDTA). Her areas of interest include evaluating and treating infants and young children with torticollis, hypotonia, cerebral palsy, neurologic disorders and sensory processing disorder.
