The waitress was good, very attentive. The atmosphere was good. Televisions at every spot. Excellent sports bar. The wait was not long. The food, catfish, fries, hush puppies, ettoufee was excellent. Did not want fries and the substitution price was ridiculously high, so I got the fries and did not eat them.

Good food, nothing fantastic. Boom boom shrimp PO boy didn’t have a noticeable kick but was good and had plenty of shrimp. Hangover burger was very good. Fried pickle chips were kinda greasy, but all right and you get a good portion. Tea is good

My friend and I enjoyed our first time at Walk On’s. I gave 4 stars bc the service is average, or even below average :/, and«the Devils on Horseback» only comes with 4 stuffed shrimp, which is a bit silly for the price of like $ 11. We do like the taps at the table, the taste of the drinks and food, and the atmosphere. We will be back!

My husband is highly allergic to chicken. We asked if one of the sandwiches had chicken because the name of it hinted that it was chicken but the ingredients listed did not say chicken. The waitress didn’t know and brought it out and it had chicken. We sent it back and heard the cook basically calling my husband stupid. I’m sorry jerk, but we asked and the waitress didn’t know and just put the order in without asking! We talked to the manager, Stephen, and he said it would be handled but didn’t even offer to comp my husband’s meal. At that point, we were afraid to eat the remade sandwich because my husband had told the waitress to tell the cook to come tell him how he felt to his face. Needless to say, we won’t be back. Ridiculous.

Super service. Wing appetizers well prepared. Zydeco salad, again, just looks as mouth watering as it tastes. Gonna try the Tuscan Chicken for the first time. Looking forward to sampling the corn maq cheaux. Heard about but I’ll see!

The food is absolutely delicious! My husband is a chef and it’s very difficult to satisfy his taste for food, but he loved everything we ordered. We had the Mozzarella Logs, Duck and Andouille Gumbo, side of red beans and rice, and the shrimp platter. We also had two drinks the red dragon and blueberry coconut something both were great. My only complaint would be that our water was not filled very quickly(a pet peeve for me) but it was also very busy. Will definitely go back when I’m in town again.

We have ate here two times since this place opened, and the food is ok. Drinks are good, but kinda hard to mess up a draft beer. Atmosphere is really good, and this is a good place to hangout and watch a few games. Service the two times we have been, have very good.

JG score of 6⁄10(+3 for food, +1 for atmosphere, 0 for price, 0 for no Diet Dr Pepper, 0 for typical service and +2 for we are looking forward to returning) I looked at the menu online before we went and I had already decided what I wanted based solely on the interesting names= Devil’s on Horseback appetizer, Cajundillas for the entrée and Krisy Kreme Bread Pudding for dessert! The«Devils» were jumbo shrimp stuffed with cream cheese and pickled jalapeños wrapped in bacon and fried! We liked them better plain without the sauce. Too bad you only get 4 total to eat. The Cajundillas were also tasty. They put a lot of ingredients in things here seemingly. The tortilla of this quesadilla has Monterrey Jack cheese in it but that is the least of it… also Andouille Sausage, Boudin, Carmelized onions and chicken come bustin out the sides. Good by itself or dipped in the buffalo ranch… not sure why someone wanted to tamper with ranch dressing= leave it alone. Plain would have been better. Anyway, saving the best for last is a saying but it also applies here. The Krispy Kreme Bread Pudding might be the single best dessert we have ever tried. The caption under the name in the menu doesn’t even describe what it is, it just says, «Try it! Just trust us.»…well, those were the highlights. The California Wrap and the Red Beans & Rice and the Duck and Andouille Sausage Gumbo were all good just not standout like those others. The atmosphere was crowded and loud with almost nonstop TV’s lined up all around the walls. This is a sports bar type setting. Plenty of tables to sit at. Lots of sports theme décor everywhere. It would be good to watch a big game here if all the TVs were tuned to it. They even have TV’s mounted in each individual urinal in the restroom so you don’t miss out. The price will easily be over $ 15 each here but is well worth it. No Diet Dr Pepper only Diet Coke. Our service was nice and friendly. She was very busy too. All the waitresses on our day there were wearing high school cheerleader type outfits. So, we will walk on back for sure! On our list to try are the loaded burger, catfish Atchiflaya or whatever and the voodoo shrimp!

I really enjoyed Walk On Sports Bar. The Fried Pickles are The Best! I ordered the catfish platter with waffle fries. It was delicious and guess what! … It was real catfish. My husband had the Blacken Catfish with Crawfish étouffée over rice. He really enjoyed it. Our waitress was awesome. She made sure to check on us. I most definitely would return.

Went on a Friday night. The wait wasn’t too long considering that it’s a new place. One weird thing, instead of giving you a pager device to let you know your table is ready, they send you a text message to your phone. The place was packed. It’s a nice place with tvs on every inch of the walls. It’s loud though. Over all I give it a 4 out of 5. I had the boom boom shrimp po boy and it was great. My son had the grilled cheese and apparently the kids items are served on a Frisbee as a plate. Thought that was cool. I’ll be going again.

New spot in Shreveport! Just went there last night for the first time with a group of friends for food and drinks. Their draft and drink menu is vast and filled with great selections! My wife and I ordered the cheese waffle fries topped with bacon which was delicious! My wife ordered the Cobb salad which taste wise, was very good. The only thing was that my wife found pieces of egg shells in some of her bites. I mean it wasn’t a huge deal, but it was definitely still a legitimate minus. The service was very good though. Even though it was super packed, our server was very attentive and nice! The only downside(besides the shells) was it was very busy but it’s only expected. Also another plus is the huge TVs that line all the walls, so it’s excellent for game days. I’ll definitely be back!

Had the classic burger yesterday, with cheddar cheese with a side of sweet potato fries and oh my god! Burger was perfect, super juicy! My sweet potato fries we’re a little on the crunchy side, and I usually like them with sugar… Other than that, amazing! They also have about 40 tvs and self serve beer tables! No doubt I’ll be back during the next Sooners game

Great live atmosphere! This restaurant is an awesome place to hang out with friends or family! They offered all different varieties of alcoholic beverages. They have beer taps at certain tables(this was kinda cool) There is a tv mounted on every squared inch of this place! This is a great restaurant, Shreveport is honored to welcome Walk-on’s to our city! I ordered the Death Valley this drink was VERY strong! It has a fruity taste which I enjoyed! The boom boom shrimp poboy was the BEST poboy I have ever tasted! The monte cristo wrap is yummy, this warp was different. I’ve never tasted anything like this before. The VooDoo Shrimp dish was different. I enjoyed the cheese with corn girts, with jumbo stuffed shrimp.

So this place is really cool and fun. A beer drinkers paradise. Been there twice since it opened and both visits were great. I’m not a drinker so just ordered regular stuff. Sitting at the bar is quicker if you have just two people. Give it a try. Be patient if they are crowded. That’s a good thing!

Great food, great atmosphere. I had the Hangover burger, which was killer. The Tuna Tini appetizer was also great. This is the place to watch sports and have a great atmosphere, but also enjoy excellent food.

Place is newly opened, so it is extremely busy. Be ready for a 30+ minute wait for a table. The service was fine, although I think they may have too many waitstaff. they were constantly bumping into each other and their chatting at the wait station was annoying, so the noise level was higher than I would normally like. The problem really is the food. Here is what we ate today: Pre-appetizer: They brought us a couple of their hush puppies to try. Their hush puppies are the classic cornmeal in a round ball type(no jalapenos). However, their spin is to put sugar in the batter apparently. They were very sweet. I am still not sure if I like this version, but I am leaning towards no. Appetizer: Devils on Horseback. Description reads: Jumbo gulf shrimp stuffed with cream cheese and pickled jalapeño, wrapped in bacon & lightly fried. Problem: The shrimp were not cleaned. There was one small slice of jalapeño in each stuffed shrimp. The bacon was under cooked(very fatty and chewy, bad texture), but the batter was way over cooked. Once you break the batter shell, the rest of the shell completely falls apart. Also, the first shrimp I picked up had a grey hair about 2 inches long embedded into the batter. Entrée: Surf and Turf. Description reads: Blackened burger, sauteed shrimp, caramelized onions, pickled jalapeños, Monterey jack cheese, thousand island dressing on a brioche bun. Entrée’s arrived less than a minute after the appetizer. My plate had a pool of blood and butter in the middle of it. The waffle fries were pale yellow, under cooked and mushy. The shrimp on the burger were again, not cleaned. It was a mass of cheese, shrimp, onions and three jalapenos on the top of the burger patty. Not necessarily a bad thing, as the burger patty itself was tasty, but was not blackened by any stretch, and there was no thousand island dressing on my burger. The burger could have used some spices to jack the flavor up, honestly. It was bordering on under seasoned and plain. My friend had a classic burger. The description reads: An All-American classic! He did not finish his burger, and said it was very boring and plain. Not nearly as good of a burger as other places in town. He also had under cooked waffle fries which he did not eat. Overall, I would say the food quality here is a 1.5−2 out of 5. It is filling enough to get you by, but there are a lot better burgers out there for half the money. I will probably try this place again in couple of months to see if the seafood entrée’s are any better than the burgers.

Really good food. It just opened so the place is packed. Totally worth it! High quality tvs and really nice friendly smiles and people. Very relaxing atmosphere. Food portions are good. I posted pictures of as much as I could. They also have a history on the place. I would suggest to read it and look at your napkin. lol even the napkins have history. It is even good to bring children and they have a private room for big private parties. Perfect for entertainment.
